Hey! I attempted to search a story by name in the chyoa search bar the other day, but it wouldn’t come up. The only way I could find the story I was attempting to find was to search it on Google. I think the issue may be the original writer’s account was gone? There was no author listed, so I assume they deleted their account or something. The story was ‘Cursed Punishment’ if that helps. I was looking for it to read a specific branch.
I'm also not getting any notifications, and that includes for stories that have far fewer chapters than either Harem Hotel or Kink Development Kit. Been like this for nearly a week now. I did get one notification for a new chapter the other day, but since then it's been broken again.
I created a form and multiple pouple also said they were having the same issues with notifications where stories we follow are not notifying us when updated
I have made improvements to the chapter notifications. Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you notice anything else.
Also for Harem Hotel, several of us from our story's discord noticed that we're not coming up in the search function
Thanks for the feedback on both "Cursed Punishment" and the "Harem Hotel" stories. The search functionality has been updated to assign a higher weight to titles. This should make it easier to locate stories. Please let me know if you notice anything else!
I have bad news, unfortunately. A new chapter was published an hour ago in Harem Hotel, but I haven't seen any notification. I've seen notifications for all chapters published in other stories I'm following since my first report though.
I did get a chapter notification for Harem Hotel, but I had also followed that user directly to try to get around this issue. So I'm not sure which one gave me the notification. I've un-followed that user now, so we'll see when another chapter is posted.
Um, I just went to my story's story map (to find a chapter so I can work on it) and all the chapters were green? As in unread green? I went to a few of my favorited stories and every single chapter, even the ones I know for a fact I've read, were all marked as unread. Not that it really matters, there is a 'Mark all as read' button, and any chapter I wanna come back to is bookmarked anyways, but still, I'd like to know if this is a sign of a larger issue, or just a weird glitch. Please and thank you!
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding some of our tables, which means I had to temporarily disable the table that stores the read information for each chapter. That's why all chapters are showing up as green at the moment. Thanks for your patience while I work on getting everything back to normal!
I'm assuming an issue with the table is what brought the whole site down. Hopefully it doesn't last too long
Hey! My notifications are back, and I'm getting new chapter notifications! Thanks for fixing that. As a side note, I also got notifications for chapters published by someone I'm sure I had set to be ignored. That's not a big deal though.

So, I just noticed that your liked chapters no longer show up under "Recent Activity" I doubt many care but I kinda liked(lol) these as it gave me a quick way to return to the latest chapter I read.
Thanks for the feedback! I disabled liked chapters in "Recent Activity" to help limit the increasing size of the table. What do you all think? Should this feature be brought back?
As stated, I liked it because it was the easiest way to mark the latest chapter you read(Bookmark works too but requires more effort as you have to delete it again) But I imagine I'm in the minority here as some readers might not even like leaving a "trail" behind. Maybe it could be an optional feature?
I like the feature a lot. When someone follows me, I often to go their profile to see what story of mine they liked.
