Yara stepped from leg to leg, nervously, as the group waited for the stormtrooper to finish speaking with the captain of Ina's flagship. "It will be at least 8 days, governor." The man answered briskly, but then hesitated. "But Captain doubts that we will be able to hold the system. Enemy fleet number around sixty ships, eight of which, so far, was recognized as capital ships." The man explained, making Yara pale.
Alyn sips at his own drink, watching his companion. "So, what do you do? Something stressful that means you have to relax as well?"
Spoiler: Intimidation 12 Vs DC 8 As She dragged the female pirate closer to the fire, the woman started struggling, kicking - but she was too weak to resist properly. "Okay, okay! I'll talk!" She all but screamed.
"Ah~" The Zeltron turned to him. "I am a contractor - I am given various projects and amount of money - and I am to finish it as cheap as possible as fast as possible and as well as possible." She stated with distaste. "People seem to forget that you can have something done either something done, cheap, or fast, or well - never all of those together." She shook her head with annoyance. "Well, that's the way the market is, I guess..."
Ahina smiled under her helmet. „Where is your leader on this station and how many pirates left to fight? Any traps inside? Hurry up, I don’t have all day”. She pull away pirate hand from fire, but still hold it tight, to remind her that Ahina could still burn her down.
"Damn it." Ina groans after hearing more details about the rebels numbers. "Apologies, Yara. But with our troops, I doubt we'll be able to hold them back for 8 days." Ina says, "For now, we rescue as much as we can, then we head back to the Glory." She gives her command, deciding to retreat, and gather their forces to retake the system properly, instead of risking a suicide mission.
"Sounds like you really do need some relaxation." Alyn smiles. "I'm in a similar business. People want things fast and safe - not realising that safety takes time."
Joachim took The Chips He Won before getting Up from His Seat. "Normaly You would require a appointment, but its clear You seem to be interested in wasting My time. Why dont we Talk more privately and You Tell Me who You are and what You want?" He calmly Said, a small smile on His Face.
Another chill ran through Nami at Thassco’s words, at the way he looked at her. No, she didn’t belong to him now – but he still saw her the same way, as a possession that had slipped through his fingers. It was hard not to feel self-conscious about herself now, about the way her bodysuit outlined the curves of her figure beneath her coat, how her large bosom rose and fell as her breathing quickened. “I try,” she said, making an effort to keep her voice level. “And I’m sorry about not having much, I wasn’t expecting guests. What brings you out to Zygerria?” She had a nasty feeling she already knew the answer. If Zygerria was famous for one thing, it was the slave markets. She hated, hated that she almost hoped it was that, rather than that he’d come all this way to find her…
The woman gasped, as she tried to free herself. "F-Fallen Stalker! She's on Fallen Stalker." She started deliriously, struggling in Ahina's grip.
With her decision made, Ina started walking up the ramp. "W-wait! Governor! You can't leave us!" Yara exclaimed as she made to follow, or stop Ina - but she herself stopped, as two blasters of Stormtroopers were pointed at her.
"Stand down." Ina raises her arm to order her guards, "I'm not leaving you, Yara. I'm giving you a choice. Stay here, and fight a futile battle. Or come with me, so that together we can come up with a plan to retake this system." She says in a stern tone, waiting for the officer's response.
The woman nodded enthusiastically. "That's it!" She exclaimed. "All the demands, and paying as little as they can!" She nodded her head. "Fucking leaches!" She grumbled as she took another swing.
The woman smiled. "As I said, you are an intelligent man~" She smiled as she got up. "Come." She said as she started leading the man through the casino, but not out of it. Finally, they made their way to a bar. The Torguta lead him to one of the empty private booths. As they sat down, she closed the glass door behind them. That was enough to cut off the outside. She waved at the holo menu. "Something to eat?" She suggested.
Thassco smiled as he leaned back in his seat. "Business~" He answered shortly. "I have bought a few sluts that will do quite nicely in my establishment. Ofcourse, I already sampled them - I like to make sure the quality of merchandise is of adequate level~" He smiled. "But then I heard you were on the planet. So I decided to drop with a business proposition~" He paused. "Why don't you put on something more comfortable after work and come serve something tasty?" He suggested.
„Good, and how many pirates are left on this station? Any did you have any traps here? Hurry up and maybe you will live another day”. Ahina hold her firmly and make a call by communicator in her helmet to their leader. „Chief copy? Here Ahina, I interrogate one of surviving pirates and she claims their leader is on Fallen Stalker”.
"To being free of leeches, then - at least for tonight." Alyn raises his glass and touches it against her own. "I'm Alyn."
(Thanks ) One guard—perhaps acting as a bouncer—not expecting trouble then, the former assassin scrutinised the situation outside the old office. So… wonder if they sealed the technician's crawl space? Quora headed to the nearest manhole, the technician's access would be below level in the sewers around the office.
Joachim leans Back. "That depends who You are and what You want. As You certainly know im a busy Man. So how about You introduce Yourself, Lady?" He narrows His Eyes slightly.
Business. Of course. Nami tried to suppress a shudder at the way Thassco talked about the “sluts” – the people he’d bought and “sampled”. There might be worse fates for a newly-sold slave, she tried to tell herself – for those sent to the mines, or to the arenas. But that didn’t make her feel any better. “What kind of proposition do you mean?” she asked, carefully. “If it’s about your – your purchases here, I’m not in the market.” Or on the market, she wanted to add.
