The stormtroopers lowered their weapons, but the officer did not dare to move closer. At Ina's tone, the woman bit her lip as she glanced, behind her. She stayed there for a moment, before she sagged. "Yes..." She turned to the governor, resigned. "I shall go with you."
The pirate could not answer anymore as she slowly passed out. As Ahina borrowed the comlink and reported, she heard blaster fire on the other side. "What the frak is Fallen Stalker?" The leader asked. Ahina heard Cara curse. "A fucking name of a spaceship!" She all but exclaimed.
The woman smiled as she raised her own glass. "Now, that, I can drink for!" She took a sip. "I'm Tev!" She answered with a smile. "So, you dancing?" She asked as she looked at the dance floor.
The agent moved through the streets until she reached one of the maintenance shafts. She easily slid into it and made her way to the place she knew she would find the technician's access. After making her way through the maze, she stopped as she was almost at her place. What stopped her was that she came upon not only entrance - but proof someone used it. She knew that, because she saw an old body in imperial uniform. Already it was reduced to bones...
The woman smiled as she placed several chips on the table. When she took away her hand, Joachim realised that she placed ten thousand credits on the table. "I am a client, who pays~" The woman smiled as she leaned back in her seat. "And appreciates discretion." She said as she placed another ten thousand credits on the table.
The man smiled. "While I wouldn't mind putting a collar around this neck of yours, that is actually not the reason why I came. I do require your services." He paused. "Still, I would appreciate, if you got into something lighter, I do have quite an appetite now~" He paused. "Ah, but of course, since you are 'free' now~" He leaned forward and put a chip on the table. One hundred credits chip.
„So that means we can be soon cut off from retreating by some spaceship? Did we have any backup in the space”? She asked Cara. Ahina look around the hangar for any starfighter. Anything what could let’s her fly and fight against coming enemy. „Did scanner detect anything”?
Joachim looked at The Chips and slightly smiles. In this sad Galaxy Credits were a Powerful means to an End. "Well i can make some time If that is The Case, and as a Doctor, discretion is held high in my Line of Work so im listening..."
Nami stared for a moment at the credit chip. How she wished she could throw it back in Thassco’s smiling face – but she couldn’t. Her next debt repayment was due all too soon, and the consequences if she failed to pay didn’t bear thinking about. Like it or not, she was in no position to turn down this kind of payment. And maybe – in her wild imagining, maybe she could find some small way of helping those unlucky people Thassco had made his property. “I see. I mean – yes, Mister Thassco,” she said, giving a small bow. “Thank you. Where should – where do you want me to go?”
"A wise choice." Ina replies, moving back into the ship. "Take off. We are to meet up with the Glory, and make our escape from this system." She says in a stern tone, and once they fly away. She turns to face Yara. "Tell me. Where exactly did the Moff go, that requires most of his forces?" Ina asks in a curious tone, thinking that either there's a mole within the planet's government. Or perhaps the Moff himself has made a deal with the rebels.
The pilot angrily scowls. "You do know that this is all we got!" She hit the shuttle with anger. "Just..." She inhaled deeply. "Just tell them, when they reach the command centre, or sensors, to check the fucking area!" She growled. "Because shuttle's sensors are fucking fried!"
The woman smiled, as she leaned back in her seat. "I knew you were an intelligent one, doctor~" She chuckled. "Now, your product... the drug, I know it works as a kind of buster, enhancing those that take it - but can you tell me what it does exactly?" She asked, with an expression of focus on her face.
The man smiled at her as he saw that his fins started sinking into her. He smelled weaknes~ "Ah, already you want to talk business ~ Why don't we relax first, talk about old times~" The man patted the seat next to him.
Ahina send the call to the leaders of both team, telling them to look for command centre to check area. To not stand unactive, she checked hangar where they been, looking for computer, which maybe could give her some access. "Well, only if we didn't blow it up in the fight". She said to herself.
Yara, border the shuttle, as the ramp closed. The shuttle started flying. "Yes, Ma'am." She started slowly, uncertainly. "I am not exactly able to answer those questions. All I was told, was that Moff took forces from the system for some military campaign." She swallowed as she gave the answer, looking dejected. Before she could ask more questions, Ina felt that the Lambda shuttle landed. The ramp opened showing the deck of her flagship. Already a navy officer in a black uniform was waiting for her. "Governor! Welcome back!" He greeted her along with a couple of Navy Toops.
Joachim eyes her before He slightly chuckles. "Oh that is for Me to know and You to find Out. Im much more curious how You know so much. One could say a little too much Young Lady. For all i know You could be a Detective who accuses Me of Criminal actions. I assure You My products to Not contain Red Sand or any other illegal substances..." He leans back, smiling at her.
The red-skinned chuckled as she put down and got up, making her way to the dance floor, with a sway of her hips. Soon, she was dancing, swirling on the floor, moving into the rhythm of music.
Nami felt her jaw clench. This was her ship, her home, her life – he had no right to treat her like this – but she needed to play his game. Make him think he had all the power. Getting him to underestimate her, to fully let his guard down, might just give her a chance at turning the tables later. Slowly, but putting a sway into her step, she did as she was told, moving over to sit beside Thassco, deliberately crossing one leg over the other. She didn’t look right at him, hoping she could mask her disgust more easily that way. “It has been a while,” she said. “You seem to be doing well.”
"A military campaign?" Ina couldn't help but ponder, Are they invading another system, or is it a military exercise? She ponders, still wondering why the Moff took most of his forces away. "No matter, after we build up a force of our own, we can simply take back this system." She assures Yara, just as they return to the Glory. "At ease." Ina says in a stern tone, "Have the rebels sent any messages?" She asks, wondering if they've asked the locals to surrender, or if they're simply invading violently. "Head back to Ord Simres, before they move in to capture our ship." She gives the order to retreat.
