Newest Chapter: If you didn't think there'd be gladiatorial style fights happening in the slave keeper guys domain... You were a fool
Can we watch? (More importantly apply puppet.) Can we identify the potential opponents before hand? Can we send a golem in instead? (Losing a golem isn't really an issue. What are the rules for winning? Presumably not a fight to the death. Considering we have beaten Alide one on one with minimal preparation this seems emenently winnable although I don't quite trust it.
We have to be very careful here. Quint says we need to win three fights to progress, not just do three fights in total, so that means if this goes poorly we could lose a bunch of people Before we agree to anything we should clarify the rules. What kind of fight is this? For all we know this could be a cum battle.
Also it seems that we have to choose the fighter before knowing more about our opponent. So I am not really convinced this is a good offer.
Yeah, a clarification on the rules seems necessary before we commit to anything. I doubt these are fights to the death given Quincy's interests, but the fact that these are supposedly fighters means this will be combat. And what's the rule on buffing our combatant before entering the ring, is that an option? Also, the potential issue with sending golems to scout is that we might not be able to fight the same opponent twice. Their names could provide hints as to their personality and/or abilities, but they could also be ironic. For example, there's Mini, who might be named that because she's small, but might also be very large for comedic effect. It might be best just to pick ones we want to see if we can't make predictions. I for one want to see Candy (is she literally made of candy?), Queen (could either be a former queen who is now a slave or is a 'queen' as in dominatrix), and Feather (maybe a winged type, even an angel?). We should also consider who our best solo fighters are. Lemiel is probably our most reliable given her strong physical and magical abilities plus healing. Cherchiel is an absolute powerhouse if we give her the right equipment loadout. Sally's mirror shield + gimp suit combo will make her a real nightmare to take down. Yulia and Talwa have the firepower to potentially atomize their opponents, but a bad matchup would lose them the match. Beck is unkillable, but her lacking mental faculties could be used against her. Isalia, Lri, and Maple all shine best in group battles, so I don't think we should send any of them out. Goma's fighting ability is rooted entirely in Puppet, if it doesn't work she's done. Dahlia's Fetish Call would probably be useful, it exploits fetishes and Quincy has probably given a few to the fighters he's trained, but I'm not 100% confident on how she'd do. TLDR: We hear the rules first, but our best picks for fighters are probably Lemiel, Cherchiel, Sally, and Talwa, and there's not much we can do about picking out the right opponents.
Quincy: Hello friends! The rules are simple. You pick a name from the list, you pick a fighter on your side. Both will be revealed to the other and then you can make your plans for the fight. Buffing is fine, sure why not. It'll help offset the massive debuff you'll be getting anyway...
That wasn't really that helpful. Still don't know what the nature of the fight or win condition is. If nothing else is forthcoming, let's send in a golem buffed up as much as we can (with spells and things we can generate, can golems use demonic items directly?) so we can see what happens.
Hmm..could it be that there are actually different disciplines and the name is a hint towards what that would be? ... Probably not. Anyways, the Golem strat sounds fine. Doesn't seem like anything is preventing us from just throwing Golems at the problem either, so we can just chugging them at the fighters. Even if they don't win we get intel about what the fighters about
Quincy: I didn't think explaining the nature of the fight would actually be required... It's a fight. You hit each other with magic or weapons or other means of inflicting damage until one of you can no longer continue. The one who can no longer continue is the loser, the other is the winner.
Got it. Oi, Quincy, if this keeps on going we just throw Golems at the fighters which would be super boring for everyone involved. If you want us to wager anything of actual substance I suggest you sweeten the pot somewhat. How about instead of permanent slavedom you get to train the loser for a bit and we got em back after a while? It's not like you are into anything besides the training part anyways You can even give them a fun fetish while you're at it, like making Lemiel crave Demon Pussy
OK, golem strategy looks good, unless Quincy is willing to offer something sweet to us. If Quincy gets too greedy, we can just go back to murder plan.
Yeah, (temporary) play time if a loss, or it's golems, failing that just kill him. You will have to excuse me for hedging bets, but it's in my nature. Dahlia having some fun with him would be a nice change of pace, so I wouldn't be opposed to just beating him up.
Okay, so we can plan a bit for each fight, but at the end of the day we have to lock in a fighter. If we're scouting with a golem, the biggest thing to watch out for is the Domain effect. It sounds like it's a pretty big debuff, so it'd be nice to know what it is before we start throwing real party members at this. Also, since no one has picked an opponent, I'll nominate Queen for our golem's scouting mission.
Right, fine. Would the needle mace work? Because that plus Beck (assuming we haven't broken the immortality somehow) seems like a likely combination. The only disadvantage is Beck needs to remain able to continue until the mace does its thing. I don't think it would qualify as a cutting weapon? There is always the option of Lemiel, she is probably the only one able to keep up physically, just add all the best gear, although her blades wouldn't be much use. Alas doesn't seem likely to be weak to Dhalia. Make sure to do the potion in mouth trick, it'll help against the first something.
And here I was expecting some haughty Ojou-sama, instead we got this monstrosity I'm beginning to believe we got fairly lucky with our path through the tower I don't trust Beck with dressing herself, also according to Quint the fighter is getting a debuff, if that's anything mental related the girl is toast I vote for sending out Sally. She's pretty much impervious to damage and doesn't have any fetishes that will affect her performance Regardless of who we pick, we should obviously buff with Energize and the Horn. If items are allowed also give a couple of mana and health potions to the fighter
This is a good reminder that we've only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Tower's races and such, so there's only so much we can plan for. Not to mention that there might be former Chosen mixed in with our ten opponents. Agreed, Sally is probably the best fit for this matchup. Let's hand her a Plasma Rifle in case the Queen tries to make some distance, but besides that I think her current loadout should work.
