So, arms restrained, thus rather dramatic advantage for anyone with extra limbs (or similar) and abilities that don't need hands/arms to use. I can see why queen was quite strong here. Although it could be a different effect depending on the opponent, ie one that gives them a relative advantage.
Beck has a tail right? Or Talwa. Can you use magic with your arms bound like that? Because a quick magic nuke would probably work. What about the curling into a ball armour? We can put one potion in the mouth, but beyond that potions don't help during the fight at least. Oh, and add cloak to the starting buffs next time, one sneek attack might make all the difference.
What about making a multi-limbed golem, not very exciting I know, but it could work.

Well, that's unfortunate, but two key takeaways: 1. That was a winnable fight and 2. We know what the gimmick of this domain is now. No wonder Quincy is so confident. If we'd tried to jump him at the beginning, this would've hit everyone.

Can anyone say with confidence if this would restrict magic? My guess is that it does, or it summons different bondage for mages. Is it possible to use Identify on the bondage on Sally now? Cherchiel's Carapace Armor seems like it'd get around this, so she might be our go-to for future fights.

Now that we know Queen's abilities, do we want to take her out? Or try our luck with another fighter?

    Gah, Sally! Stop being useless!

"Aspect of the Apex, grants the wearer increased physical strength, but drains their intelligence, making them akin to a feral beast, also causes the wearer to grow a thick spiky tail, large wings, fangs and claws," it returns.

We never really tried it out but it sounds perfect for this fight.

"The Carapace Armor, a suit of plate style armor made from the interlocked scales of the Rack. Provides full coverage and good defense, however it's real power is in it's miraculous ability to allow the wearer to roll up into a ball at which point they are both completely immune from damage and able to use the Rack's own rolling charge attack. Of course the size of the wearer affects the size and therefore effectiveness of the charging sphere," the spell returns.

It's currently unequipped but unless it it interferes with the aspect we could equip both

I'd say we go full offensive next time. Have Cherchiel don the Boar mask, buff her and then let her go rolling armadillo on this bitch.

We probably will have to pick Queen again. We don't know if it's the same debuff with every fighter. This one was very tailored to Queen after all.

I'll agree with Operation Cherchiel Smash Queen.

Also, for long-term consideration, I'm reminded of how insistent Quincy was that we not use Identify on him. There's two reasons he'd be like that. 1. Like Dreg, there's some personal history that would be revealed he doesn't want us to see. 2. A big glaring weakness. I wouldn't gamble on it, but that and the fact that he caved to our suggestion of losers only being temporarily trained might be because we can turn this around on him. Especially since we've now got info on how his domain works. I will say, his agreement on temporary training could also be because he's simply confident that he'll end up defeating us one by one before we rack up three wins and he can make the party want to stay forever. Depending on how things shake out, we might need to fight him, so I'll do my usual over-analyzing until we get to leave.

    Sally's Roll: 11

    God damnit Sally stop rolling!

Yeah, that was a lot closer given the curbstomp Cherchiel(I'm not calling her THAT, engin) just dished out.

I think we expected her to break free of the chains via armadillo mode and get an additional bonus from that.

Whelp, Cherchiel's no good if we send her out like that again, so someone needs to take care of her.

Cherchiel, as a reward for winning you can pick one of the girls and do with her what you want(except killing Dahlia)

At this rate everything is going to be a coin flip. There is a definite risk that we will run out of people.
Lemiel and carapace armour? We seemingly need someone strong enough to win by headbutt. Would the helmet from that heavy armour we've been carrying for ages help?

Not using the rolling attack was a bit surprising. So our next fighter should use it.

Fucking... Right I just copied it and only edited the numbers... Will fix that.

While I didn't end up having Cherchiel use it in the description I did figure it into the difficulty calculation as just... an aspect of the carapace armor, you may note usually armor isn't figured in difficulty calculations. That being said... I almost had her use it to just jump and then slam down on Queen at the end of the fight, but I also found myself thinking... In her completely feral, basically braindead violent state, would she even be able to consider using said effect?

If we're giving Cherchiel a break, how about sending Talwa out? The bindings interfere with accuracy, but she's got a spell with a wide enough area of effect that that might not matter. Actually, could we have her borrow Maple's Targetting Helmet to try and balance out the decreased accuracy as well? For an opponent, how about Candy? We're basically guessing about their abilities until the matchup is settled, and we can pivot depending on what the Identify spell turns up before the fight starts. Also, make sure to use some mana potions to refill her mana.

    Useless mage Talwa, eh?

My issue with that would be that she won't be able to use her prism staff super magic without her hands(I think) But it's not like we can do much about that.

We definitely want to give her some equipment though, we never really bothered with giving her something decent to wear for some reason

The helmet sounds good. I'd say we also give her Goma's thick hide outfit and Yulia's cloak of turbulent waves, in addition with the usual buffing.

    Sounds good.

Did we lose access to Sally's gear when she lost?

You did indeed. Anything Sally had on her she still has and you cannot currently get back.

As long as you don't need to swing it, you could just hold it behind you. I suspect Sally dropped the rifle out of surprise more than anything.

Well, seems simple enough. Identify hasn't failed us yet. I suppose there might be some unexpected combat ability, but it seems unlikely. As for other options... If we are killing this guy I would rather do it at full power.
