The man smiled, hearing familiar words. "Indeed! There are more formal versions of greetings and goodbyes. You could also use Hey, Cześć and few others, depending on the time of day. It's a rather complicated and difficult language." He chuckled. "It's said that over 60% of Poles, can't speak it properly, so don't worry about getting something wrong." He assured her. "Oh no, you are not disturbing me. I welcome a break from my dreaded work-" He sighed. "Not that I could do much at this hour. My brain's spent and my organism refuses any more coffee." He paused. "So, your friend - a date?" He asked curiously.
I laugh as the word organism slips from his mouth. “Now it is your turn to be formal. We would say body, not organism. And if you wanted to be even less formal, you could say Coffee no longer agrees with me at this late hour. English can be difficult, too. A lot of people around where I am from speak in a dialect hard for the rest of America to fathom.” I give him a bit of a shy smile at his probing into Lexi. “Perhaps she is. I don’t know. At least a new good friend.”
"Ah, my apologies for mistakes in my English. I mostly use it to talk about technical subjects." He shuttered, pausing, as he searched the word. "Oh?" He hummed. For a moment he hesitated, then decided to continue the subject. "Well, she would be fool not to be - you seem like a decent person." He leaned forward in his seat. "So, what brings you to this little place in Europe? Are you on vacation?" He asked, changing the subject. As he spoke, Chloe noticed Lexi moving between the shelves.
I smile and rise. “Sorry, I have to go. I had a lovely time. Perhaps we can see each other again?” I say, leaving that question in the air as I make my way toward Lexi.
"Oh..." The man nodded, little dejected. "Perhaps..." He said not really believing it. As Chloe made her way to Lexi, she found the redhead with a stack of books, putting them one by one on it's place. She looked tired, there was a thin layer of sweat on her skin, that made her shirt stick to her. She did not seem to have noticed the blond Vampire yet.
I sneak up on Lexi—a smile plays across my face. I lean in and brush my lips cross the skin of her neck. I can feel her blood pulsing just beneath the surface. “I’ve been waiting on you. Are you ready?”
The woman gasped, almost jumping, the books almost fell from her hands as she turned around sharply. She only calmed down as she saw Chloe's face. She sighed with relief. "You-!" She started, her face twisted in mock anger, covered with blush. The outrage fell and she chuckled. "Give me fifteen minutes - I need to put those in place, then go for my things~"
I grope the beauty's firm behind. “Please do hurry. I find I am losing the ability to control myself.” I let her go back to where the man I was talking to was. “Lovely to have met you. I’m Chloe, by the way.”
"I'll be back in a moment." Lexi said as she quickly made her way to the shelves, before making her way deeper into library. As she approached the man, he gave a small nod. "I am Piotrek. In short, Piotr." He said with a small nod of his head. "That was the woman you are seducing?" He asked as he glanced at Lexi.
I push the blood onto my cheeks to blush. “She is a very nice woman. I’m trying to get to know her better. By the way, may I call you Peter? I find it difficult to pronounce certain Polish words.”
The man nodded. "Yes you can." He laughed. "It makes my name feel more exotic!" He suddenly closed his mouth and looked around. "Ah, should not have been that loud." He shook his head. "Well, a beautiful woman seducing another beautiful woman... I am kinda jealous... but also, I find it quite... what's the word... pleasing? No... ah, joyous. Happy, to see other people happy." He explained with a nod of his head.
I take out a pen and write my number on the page of one of his books. “Call me some night. I must warn you, I’m what we Americans call a night owl, so please wait till after the sun goes down,” With that, I saunter off to wait on Lexi.
"Ah, what?" The man looked at her startled. But failed to say anything else, as she disappeared. It took some time for Lexi to arrive, when she finally did, she was wearing a top of suit and a jacket. "Sorry for the wait! I am ready!" She grabbed Chloe by the hand and dragged her outside. "So!? Where are we going? Somewhere fun? Somewhere-ah! Sorry!" She let go of vampire's hand. "I guess I got la ittle excited!" She blushed a little.
I smile at the sexy librarian, noticing how flustered she is getting. I lean in close enough to smell her perfume, my breath evident on the flesh of her neck as I speak. “Well, if you would like to dance, we can head to a club or perhaps a late dinner if you are hungry.”
"Ah~" She blushed, a little flustered. "I am not good with crowds. I know a restaurant not far away from here, they serve quite good indian food." She suggested. "If, you like spicy things~"
I smile at Lexi. “You are so cute. That’s fine. I kinda wanna have you all to myself anyway. And I have to say I do love… spice.” I pull out my phone and dial Clara. “Yes, bring the car around. Uh-huh. We’ve decided on an Indian Restaurant near here.”
Lexi blinked. "You calling a taxi?" She blinked. "No need, it's just a couple of hundred of meters from here. We can either walk or go by tram." As she spoke, Clara answered by phone. "I'll be there in a couple of minutes."
I smile at the cute librarian and go back to Clara. “Change of plans. We’re going to walk. Get yourself something to eat. I’ll call you if I need you.” I put my phone away and take Lexi’s hand in mine. With my most cutesy voice, I say, “You’ll have to show me the way. I’m afraid I’m new around here.” I give her a big smile as I look deep into her eyes.
"Oh, Of course!" The woman says with a smile. "First, moving around the city is easier with communication - trains, busses, subway, trams. You just need to buy a ticket for let's say a week or a month, and you will be allowed to use any transport within city's premisses in that time." Lexi started explaining. "Also, the city is far more safe in night then your country. Not perfectly safe - that's no where to be find - but safe." She smiled. "Come!" She lead Chloe to the bus stop. She checked the table. "We have to wait three minutes for the next one." She said and there it was, a red and yellow bus stopping in front of the bus stop. As the two entered, it took Chloe a moment to realise, that it was an electric bus. There were a couple of people inside, but they kept to themselves, quiet.
I stick close to Lexi, completely out of my element. “In America, unless you are in New York or Chicago, we drive everywhere.” I lean into Lexi's shoulder. “I’m in your hands now, favorite.”
