When publishing a new story, allow choosing between "Publish Introduction only", "Publish all Chapters" and "Save as draft"

It will be really useful by allowing to wait to have a lot of content before publishing while remaining free to stagger the release of chapters.

    A Thousand times yes!

Would also love to have the option to hold back certain unfinished parts / chapters when publishing a new story.
That would be possible with "Publish Introduction only".

Optional, Ability to save story and or chapters as draft without a title. Would prevent the writer from accidentally publishing a story. Like wise chapters would not be published until titled.

A checkbox for each chapter would also be possible, or anything else.

I believe the aim of our suggestions here is to have some control over chapters that we do not want to publish yet - at the moment the story is initially published.
So anything that can accomplish that goal would be welcome

The checkbox information would only be necessary until publishing the story.

It would maybe simpler to just have a choice when publishing :
    -publish story (status quo)
-publish introduction (you can then publish the rest as you see fit) having to go on each chapter might be difficult.

Alternatively have to check the chapters that won't be published rather than the other way around.

  8. Ah, yes. I just encountered this, today. It would be very useful. I expect do do a lot of testing before I want to publish sequences.
