Pipe-weed Dreams

Probably not my best big action scene, but hopefully it communicated chaos well enough.

 

Did a little housekeeping. Just a head's up that I'm traveling this weekend and all next week, so updates will probably be more sporadic. Don't like to leave people hanging on a cliffhanger, but I guarantee I've got an ending planned.

 

...and we're back. Had some time to brainstorm the ending a bit.

 

This is probably a bit melodramatic for what started out as a slice-of-life Tolkienpunk sex fantasy, but I promise I'm going somewhere with this.

 

Okay! That's the last of the dungeon delve chapters. Now...aftermath.

 

Big revelations! Some of which you readers may have already guessed. Will be doing some tidying-up of loose ends and, I know I promise this, but more sex. I promise. Not sure how much longer I'll squeeze this out, but maybe hit the 40 chapter mark.

 

Getting near the end! Sexytimes.

 

I could end it there, but I think there should be just one more chapter as a coda and final wrap. Thoughts, anyone?

 

I think ending here would feel bit abrupt straight after sexy action.

And that's a wrap! Final wordcount: 98,688. Which is a bit on the short side.

 

It was a nice story and long enough. Definitely fun to read.

 

Toying with the idea of doing some other stories in the same setting. Not sequels, exactly, but Tolkienpunk Tales. Going to meditate on it and write some other things first, but who knows?

 

Outlining Tolkienpunk Tale #1. No rush to begin - next week is going to be murder at work, and it's not like Pipe-weed Dreams set the site on fire - but I've got what I think is a good idea and I want to get it right.

So, Tolkienpunk Tales has been launched. These are going to consist of several linear stories set in the same universe as "Pipe-weed Dreams," and the first of them is "Age of the Orc." While there are going to be some gratuitous sexy bits, these are also efforts to actually tell a complete story. First story is 14 chapters long, I'll post one chapter a day until it's complete.
