So, I just noticed this thread: Choices — CHYOA from the user Kirakira101, and thought it looked kind of familiar... Lo and behold, it's pretty much copied verbatim from an old CYOA chatbot I made ages ago on personalityforge: Personality Forge - Chat with Kurakura The username is even similar to the name of the bot I made Now, I don't really mind this too much, and I suppose I haven't really been active on that site for a long while. I'm even flattered it's gotten this many views. I guess a shoutout or something that this is my material would be nice? Idk, not really sure what to do, if anything
Not that I can tell. I've tried to reach out to them about it, but haven't gotten a reply. It's not a huge deal for me, but it would be nice to be credited.
If they are publishing your writing, they need to meet the requirements of the CHYOA Rules. In that case, they need to contact you on the site you've published the content on and get your permission. If they have your permission, they need to add a line to the story, that they have your permission to republish the content. Crediting the original author without having their permission is not enough!
They have not asked for permission, and so far have not replied to any of my attempts at contacting them.
