  1. I'm trying to do the whole link posting where you put in a word then the link like (booty)[https://e-hentai.org/s/d64c3220dc/3072545-20] and then save the draft to see it but it just shows what I wrote not the linked version like in past entries.

  3. Sadly that isn't working either

  5. I don't know if things just changed or what. I have been writing on this website for a while, but I recently tried saving a section with bold text over another section that's bold. As I normally would, but they aren't staying spaced. It has also affected one of my info chapters in which I had to put in a symbol, in this case [], in each section I wanted to be separated to keep it from collapsing. It won't kill me if it isn't fixed, but it looks cleaner the other way.

Thanks for the report, Twisted_Fellow. Could you give me a link to the chapter so I can take a look at an example?

Thanks for the links, Twisted_Fellow. I took a look at both chapters, and I see what you mean. It seems the asterisks were being used as a workaround to keep the spacing from collapsing, rather than something the editor was really meant to support.

Would using three dashes (---) as a divider work for you instead? The divider itself is fairly subtle, but it adds a bit more space and separation between sections.

  8. It would literally work, but it wouldn't be as clean as the original non-collapsing version... I could literally use a | which is the marker over the \ instead of []'s if I wanted to make it look cleaner than the triple -'s. But sadly it kind of looks like a lowercase L and much like the -'s looks like a mistake. At least with []'s it is clear that I did it on purpose to mark the intended divide. As I wrote originally, it's fine if it isn't fixed, but it just seems like a bug to me since it wasn't something that happened before. Heck, one of my other chapters collapsed so spectacularly that it turned a huge chunk of it into a "link" which I corrected with said []'s. No worries, but I appreciate the input. ^.^ Although if I really wanted to make it look like it was originally with a lot of extra typing, I could do ![]() without a link to make it leave a blank space due to the intended space being left blank since no picture would be within the intended linked area, but I don't want to do that.

Hello, has there been a change to how we do simple links? Doing [words](chapter link) doesn't seem to work for me anymore. My old links still look fine, but when I do new ones it doesn't seem to do it. I'm sorry if this has been addressed somewhere already; I didn't see anything about it in the guide or any new threads about it.

    Sorry for my late reply.

Just to clarify what I meant: --- does not stay as three visible dashes. It gets turned into a stylized divider/horizontal rule.

Have you noticed that before, and do you think that could work in your context?

I just tried it with [Duck Duck Go](https://duckduckgo.com), and it worked for me.

Could you send me an example chapter, or show me exactly what you’re doing, so I can take a closer look?

    Thanks!

That text works fine for me in Markdown mode.

    Thanks for sending the example.

I’ve fixed the link for you in the introduction chapter.

What TheLowKing said is correct: this works when you use the Markdown editor. You can enable that in General Settings by disabling the Rich Text Editor.

If you want to keep using the rich text editor, that works too. In that case, just select the text you want to link (here, Blended!), then click the link/# icon in the pop-out bar and paste in the URL. That has the same effect.

Thanks again for pointing it out.

So I've been experiencing an issue with posting gifs. I've done it often and successfully before but this has been ongoing since February and now nothing I post is showing up. Curiously though, when I'm logged out and visit the story it shows me a placeholder image where I've inserted gifs that says "log in to view" but when I do there's nothing there. I get my gifs off of pornhub and now their links are stupidly long whereas before they used to be shorter. Now I've tried using different browsers from fresh installs and currently I use Firefox, but regardless the issue is the same: No gifs are coming through and I'm curious as to why I can see the placeholder image when I'm logged out but nothing at all when I'm logged in. I know how to use the ![](link here) but no luck.
That being said, I can still see gifs others have used and I don't know if they're using a different host or what the issue, but I haven't been able to troubleshoot or find an answer anywhere. Please help. Thank you.

If you look at the end of PornHub image URLs, you can see a 'validto=number' parameter. That strongly implies they're not permalinks, they'll expire after a while.

Additionally, it seems like the URL is also custom-tailored to your browsing session. If I copy an PornHub image URL and open it in another browser, I get a 403 Forbidden. This means you also can't share direct image or GIF URLs with anyone else.

TL;DR: don't use PornHub as an image/GIF host if you want to embed them in your story. It won't work.

Thank you for giving me an answer that explains a whole lot. Seriously thanks.

Story view counts on the "My Stories" page update on the hour, every hour... except at 14:00 UTC. This seems to have changed at some point between November 1 and March 27. Before that they updated every hour.

    Like counts update fine.

I don't know if this is the best place to put this but I can't find a obvious spot either. i'm attempting to comment on the latest chapter of a story I'm following along with but it won't accept my comment because it's apparently registering as spam. It won't explain why so I don't know how to fix the problem. Any thoughts?
