Newest Chapter: The trap hall

 

We don’t know how wide of an area the traps will affect, they could release aphrodisiac gas or something. Let’s avoid setting them off for now.

 

That sounds reasonable.

 

Is this where the spider was last time? I recall there was a spider... While I doubt it will be a spider again, I think it is worth trying to trigger the supposed trap from a safe distance. Now that the floor monster has been dealt with resting no longer requires protection.

(On a separate note, really not a fan of not even mentioning the cum side quest, or the gear side quest until after the fact.)

 

I can understand that, both not being brought up as an option until you kill the floor monster because failing to kill the floor monster disqualifies you from both in this run anyway seemed logical to me, but I suppose knowing in advance that such a sidequest existed would have affected your decision to ensure that the floor monster was killed or not so it is somewhat noteworthy to at least know that failing to kill the floor monster would opt you out of something. I was basing the idea that people would intend to kill the floor monster anyway on the second floor and that I am struggling a little with the fact this is a sequel and I am expecting people to come into it with some prior knowledge of the previous run so, the cum sidequest at least would be a known or suspected quantity.

 

I think it would’ve helped if Dreg gave us a reminder about the challenge to take them down on each floor, but I think the added wrinkle with the gears being a surprise is fine. Knowing about them wouldn’t change my decision making since, as you said, we’d already be losing out on the reward if we skipped Bellows.

 

Newest Chapter: The Treasury

 

I think we can trust Take's statement that items are not trapped, but checking one more time will not hurt.

Take the items after checking for the traps once more, but do not use them before you get them identified on the next floor.

 

If Take can get through the wiring while carrying everything, we might as well grab it. Also, grab the necklace first, in case we can only take one; we don't currently have an Accessory equipped so that should be the highest priority. As for Identifying it, it might be worth going back to Cerami (who will stay on this floor until we leave). She might only Identify stuff if we take a Boon (and Fetish) with it, in which case we'll wait until the next floor when we can ask Nagi.

 

Newest Chapter: The Loot

 

The necklace could become viable if we had a steady supply of blood, but that’s a big if and the other two aren’t at all viable. The good news is we can exchange items like this with Nagi, at least if the rules are the same as with Alide. We’d be able to exchange each of these for the same type of item at random.

For now, let’s head to the stairs to the next floor. Take should get an explanation of what awaits down each path and then we’ll make our final decision on which to choose.

 

Agreed, keep the items and see if you can trade them to Nagi later, but do not wear them.

Newest Chapter: Not much really to put here, time to make your choice.

 

If Take’s in favor of the demon path, I say we go that way. It would be a benefit to future runs if we go down that way this time, since we’ll be making this choice over and over. And if we play our cards right, we could absolutely come out with good benefits.

 

We can do as Take wants and choose demon path this time.

 

Don't be stupid, Take, pick the angel path! There will be time for revenge later, when you are stronger and better equipped!...

...or choose the demon path, if you are that eager to see Malia again. You're the one getting fucked – both literally and figuratively – so it's your choice.

 

Newest Chapter: The trial

 

Listen to the naked angel and take the other path, Take. If you are too weak to handle it, then you are certainly too weak to handle Malia. But if you can handle the Angel Path, then you might just obtain enough power to destroy Malia.

Or did I misunderstand something? Is defeating Malia not your goal?
