well I think we just going to wait here to check on Malphiel and for the angel to wake.

 

I think we should wait a bit and see what Saffiels wound is doing before tushing into a battle

 

Yeah, let’s deal with this dagger and heal Saffiel first. But once that’s settled, Take should Cloak and investigate the hill with the artillery. That’s a problem that can theoretically be solved with sabotage rather than a fight, so let’s gather info before we make any concrete plans.

 

Newest Chapter: The problems of being behind enemy lines

 

It looks like it's time for dealing with this artillery ritual is now while Saffiel is still at least partly able to function.

I would suggest Take, cloaked lays a line of caltrops, which hopefully can be retrieved afterwards, between the ritual and the angels. After that, the angels attack the flying demon with Angelic Rays.
Then, if the demons drawing the sigil attack the angels, Take can uncloak and attack them at the caltrops. If the angels have finished the flying demon, They can assist in taking down the two demons.
If the Priestess does not flee at the beginning Take should recloak and move to disrupt the ritual.

 

I agree with attacking now, the line of caltrops, and firing the Angelic Rays at the flying target first. But I think we should time it so that Take throws a grenade and it goes off at the same time as the rays. These demons don't have a hostage this time, and with Saffiel injured I'd rather we end this quickly. Take, make free use of Force Lance and Cloak in addition to your weapons. As for the hostage, Malphiel should keep her close and be ready to carry her if reinforcements arrive and we have to retreat.

 

I don't think we would win in our state, we almost lost against three and now we have to fight 4, one of them can flight and we lost literally one third of our power from the last fight so our chance of winning would be low.
So I have another plan: First Take will continue going slowly toward the priestess making sure to not getting spot while Malphiel will go up the hill to draw all of the demons focus on to her especially the flier. Second, after Malphiel have get the attention Saffiel will carry the angel and also go up hill but much further away from Malphiel and not too close to the top, she is there just for if the plan go south. Third, when Take get close enough to the priestess, wrap the Kusarigama around her neck just so she not dead and use her as a hostage to make the others demons can't attack us. If that all go ok then take the priestess and go out with everyone until the place warped and we go back out to the battlefield.
I will hope that if we take the priestess out of there it will also count as we have kill her and the ritual won't start

Damn shame about the angel. That said, I think we made the right call with the info we had, the alternative was keeping her close and risking her being used as a hostage.

We’ve dealt with the immediate issues of the summoning ritual and artillery, so for now let’s withdraw. We can head back to the angel encampment to get Saffiel treated, get some supplies, and maybe work out a deal to take down the rest of this demonic encampment.

 

That sounds reasonable course of action

Well, that’s some unfortunate timing. That said, we have three options. The first: Take distracts the Nephilim while Malphiel carries Saffiel away; the Nephilim will vanish if we get out of the encampment. The second: we fight the Nephilim here. The third: we sacrifice Saffiel and run.

My vote is for the first option. Take, as the Chosen, should take priority as long as she baits it with some Force Lances. Save mana for Cloak, and take advantage of your ability to evade it long enough to get away from the encampment.

That said, in case others vote to fight, I’ll add that Malphiel should equip the helmet and gauntlets, Take should use Force Lance, the kunai, and her weapons, and Saffiel should support with healing magic if she can. The Nephilim is immune to angelic magic, so there’s no point in either of our angels using their offensive magic.

 

I think we are in no shape to fight the Nephilim now. So running while Take distracts Nephilim seems best

 

I don't think we should escape now because we mostly going to go back to the battlefield and with our luck right now, the chance of we meeting the Nephilim again is very high so I think we better fight it now.
I have a strategy: First throw a smoke bomb on the Nephilim path and drop caltrops inside there. After it have go inside and step on those caltrops, Malphiel will come from the side and use the gauntlets to target it arm, hopefully break it and if she can also attack if leg before back off away from it. On the other side of the Nephilim, Take can use Force Lance, kunais and kusarigama to attack from range. Lastly Saffiel job is to use angelic ray, target the Nephilim head to distract it from the other two and Malphiel can use this distraction to attack it.

The first thing should to ask if Angelic Camp can help Saffiel. Then, Take, you should ask Nagi for healing for yourself.

 

Well, they’re not in a position to help yet, since the fighting is still happening. Let’s have Malphiel heal up Take, and leave Saffiel with Nagi for now. Take, use ambush tactics plus Cloak to help the angels take down demons. Malphiel, equip the gauntlets and helmet and join the front line. The cannons and ritual are dealt with, so we don’t have to worry about what happened in the bad timeline.

Once we settle this fight, we can see about getting Saffiel some treatment, as well as seeing what the angels can do for us.
