Tower of Voices: Second Run Voting Thread

Let’s save the boon for after we find out what the angels can give us. Let’s meet with the commander and work out a deal for the help we’ve given so far and taking out the enemy commander. The Tower Above is all about taking on harsh challenges in exchange for rewards, right? Items would be nice, but if we can restore Malphiel by fixing any of the three negative passives she has that would also be great.

 

That is reasonable course of action. Also from now on we probably should be prepared to deal with Nephilim when we meet it again.

LEMIEL!!! I MISSED YOU!!!

Take, tell her about what you’ve done on this floor, that we have no intention of fighting her, and that we’re looking for support and information to take down the demonic commander and Nephilim. I’m not sure how much support she can provide given the circumstances, but information might be possible. Also, Malphiel, please heal her.

 

It's pleasure to meet yu again even in these circumstances, Lemiel. After doing all to help Angelic forces on this level we certainly have no intention to fight Lemiel.

Okay that good nothing bad happen but I want to ask are the whole camp destroyed or only the commander tent?

 

Shame we can’t get much help from Lemiel. We should stop by Nagi’s. Armor would probably be for the best rn. After that, it might be worth luring out the Nephilim since we seem to be in the endgame for this floor.

 

Technically to find that out you'd have to step back outside, but at least in this time period where you found Lemiel the whole camp is destroyed, but when you walk back out it will revert back to before that happened.

 

These timeshifts make getting whole picture rather difficult.

I agree on getting boon from Nagi. Offensively we seem to be in pretty good shape. So armour is a good choice.

 

That is somewhat intentional. You are after all experiencing like several different time periods at the same time some of which are centuries away from each other

 

I think after talking to Nagi, Take should ask the angels if they can help us in anyway like information or items.

I would choose the bow, it basically a range weapon with infinite ammo.

 

Yeah, I agree with Frost. The tome is tempting because God’s Light is *really* good even with the nerf, but we can’t guarantee we’d get something we can use. The necklace would be super useful in the short term, but it sounds like we’d need to kill angels to get use out of it past the 500 mana and that’s not a viable option. The bow, meanwhile, will be handy both short and longterm. While it does cost mana to use, it’s cheaper than a spell so it’s a more cost-efficient ranged option.

Given that’s my choice, I’ll stand by getting armor from Nagi as well. Even if the bow gets outvoted there isn’t armor as an option.

Also, this seems a good time to ask something I’ve been thinking about for a while. Yulia was told that if she sided with either the Tower Above or Tower Below, she would have to remain in the Tower even after clearing it. But when she got to the end, she could choose to leave as her present self, or create a copy of herself based on what she was like before ascending the Tower and sent that copy out. *If* Take chose to formally side with the Tower Above, would that latter option still be available to her if she cleared the Tower? I’m not saying we commit, but this info will help when we do make a decision.

 

If the cost of the bow is low enough for Take it is very good choice. My first choice would have been the necklace. It would be very useful for harder and larger battles, and even against opponents resistant to Holy Light. Though, if we are considering siding with the Tower Above, that will not be relevant.

I am fine with getting the bow and armour.
