Removal of quick links to chapter and story

Why get rid of the quick links on the right, it made it so easy to keep writing?

 

I wasn’t entirely sure whether those quick links were still being used much, but I’m happy to bring them back.

Would you prefer to have both My Stories and My Latest Chapters back, or was there only one of them that you regularly used? What would make the most sense for you?

I changed Top Stories to Trending Stories in the sidebar and wanted to bring that section a little higher up.

 

Not OP, but I can verify that I use both extensively. And if I’m not mistaken, they only show for writers, so most users would still have the Trending Stories be prominent.

Maybe stories and chapters should only show if they’ve been updated within a certain number of days?

It’d be nice on stories if there was an option to go straight to the map.

 

Same with me for above. Just having the chapters there made things so much easier and a quick jump to map could be useful

 

I'm definitely in favor of returning both chapter and story links. I think the best case would be to just have more customizable options so users can decide on their own what they want to be shown.

 

I also would like them restored.

 

Yeah, I tend to like to check the homepage then go back to my story to check on things.

 

I would like to have them back, but collapsible. Easy access but not in the way.
