An idea that I already put out on the Discord as well. Harem story but it is about an actual harem. Fantasy/SCIFI -Alexander the Great has finished uniting the continent / region of galaxy and can finally return home to rest and rule over a peaceful empire. But now he has a harem made up of princesses of every other empire that he conquered. Including many non-human ones. As soon as I thought of this I realized that there is an obvious twist that needs to happen. The 20-something emperor had been too busy waging the war to ever worry about women so he is a virgin. Leaning more and more towards the scifi variant so he has likely been stuck inside a cockpit of a massive Mecha while leading the war personally. However... Revealing his inexperience would be embarrassing so he has to carefully plan how to deal with this and also how to "conquer" his harem to ensure that any rumours spreading about him speak highly of his skills in bed as well. Yes, this is a weird MC for a harem porn story, but I thought it would be more fun to keep things consensual or at least dubcon, so "ugly bastard gleefully making use of his sex slaves" is not where I intended to take the story. (This probably cuts out a large portion of people who would read smut about an emperor and his harem.) Other possible twists: -Oops, a lesbian princess (Is she going to cause trouble? Try to escape? Seduce other princesses? Or will she team up with the emperor as an ally rather than sex slave since she might also want to not reveal her secret.) -Wait, that's a femboy (some conquered nation did not have a princess, just a prince so they ...improvised.) -We were a Democracy and didn't have a princess, so they improvised. (Every conquered nation got the same form to sign as proof of their surrender) so the democratic planet was required to send A princess. Who did they send? -A catgirl is fine too? What about a tentacle creature? Non-human empires were also conquered. Some may be *very* non-human.
"Oopsie I won the war, guess I need to go meet my tribute wives, maybe I can start, um, with the one who really needs me the most? Oh wait, why's the door locked? Mom?" (or whoever was in left in charge when the conqueror was away) Fun ideas and lots of colorful character possibilities. Especially if the harem has been stewing for a while waiting for the master. And who started the notion of marrying into ALL the conquered nations? Is there a tradition that they can lean into? {Or away from?)
I think the harem thing is a tradition that predates him and he is obliged to follow it. Perhaps he was too focused on other aspects of running the empire and waging a war on multiple fronts to bring peace to his region that he didn't read the documents he was sending out for formal surrender from his enemies. "Yeah yeah, does it say that they surrender and become part of my empire? Good enough, I'm not going to worry about minor details like what stamps they use for postage and whatever, we can work those out in the senate once things settle down." (Do you think the emperor noticed the bit about giving a princess for his harem?) (He must have! Our glorious shining star who rules our world could never make a mistake!) The funniest reason he would have to actually keep the harem and not release the members would be because his people genuinely love him as do most of the conquered nations once they get used to his empire's rule being a benevolent one. So all (or at least most of) the harem members are super into it and want to reward him for all the good he did. ...And he just doesn't have the heart to say no. Also, I do write a lot of incest but I was trying to keep that particular kink out of this for now. But since it was brought up, his first victory would have been to take over his own empire so it would make sense that he inherited the previous harem or at least the queen.
On the Discord it was suggested that the lesbian princess makes a deal with the emperor where both try to keep the other's secret and she helps teach the emperor how to please women.
