I’m going to vote in favor of fighting the Breaker since we’re in a good state. I will say, Malphiel should take off the helmet and gauntlets and focus on ranged damage with her spells. Don’t get in close. Take, go with the bow plus Force Lance. Try using the cultists as bait like Huginn suggested. Also, Take, try to bait it away from Malphiel and Gako if it goes for them, using Cloak and your agility to get in close but evade it. Hopefully staying out of reach should let us take this thing down, but we should use the smoke bomb and run if it busts out a serious ranged attack (throwing the stockade doesn’t count, I mean something it can repeat.)

That might not have been worst odds we have seen in a fight. At least it was informative. Focus on range was at least effective. I wonder if using crushers would have been better.

I think now would be a good time to go to talk to goblins and see what is they take on what is going on here. Maybe even find that second resource point. Though Malphiel is in pretty bad shape. First you probably should head to the rest area to rest., even if it is not optimal.

I think it’d be worth Malphiel healing herself and we continue exploring before going to the goblins. It sounds like the new Lord is holed up in the goblin caves, so let’s leave that for last. I think our top priority should be finding Nagi to identify the items we got from the Nephilim, as they might be able to help us.

For future fights with the Breaker… I think staying out of range was helpful, but being able to use captives as shields hurts ranged attacks. Finding a way to deal with the stockade would probably be most effective. Could Malphiel with the helmet and gauntlets break it? If we can deal with that, I think the same tactics otherwise would work.

Since Take feels like exploring, keep exploring. You should have mana for one more fight.

Not much difference between Sunday or Monday on my end, so do whichever works best for you.

iirc the elven town had Alide’s shop, so that might be where Nagi is? Things have changed on this floor so I can’t make a guarantee, but we’ll need to go there eventually.

If anything, Sundays are slightly better for me.

Taking down Lord Windtrace seems to be something we want to do. So you can promise him that. After that I think it is time to visit Nagi and get that gear identified.

I agree with Huginn, but will add a couple questions before we leave.
    1. What can they tell us about Breaker? We should mention that it got Gako. Do they know what happens if the stockade is broken? Also, how long passed between Lumberer’s death at Yulia’s hands and Breaker’s appearance? I’m curious how much of a reprieve a floor gets when we deal with a floor monster.
    2. What can you tell us about Lord Windgrace? Someone mentioned wings, and we know he set up a cult worshipping Ash Meddai. How did he arrive on this floor? How did he take over the goblins? What kind of combat abilities does he have?
    3. What’s going on with Izzy? We heard from Gako that Goma and Isalia are trapped in the Deep and that Lord Windgrace has been a poor influence on him. I want to know more so we can try to talk him out of whatever Lord Windgrace has tried to teach him. And also, what sorts of abilities does he have? There’s a very wide pool he can potentially inherit, and I want Take to take precautions to resist his abilities if possible.
Once we get what info we can, as Huginn said it’s time to visit Nagi. Let’s identify the items from Nephilim, and if she can double check that the button at least isn’t a trap that’d be great.

This makes things more complex, but also maybe offers an easier way, freeing Goma and Isalia from the deep.
Take, you might want to wear the halo for now.
Should Take and Malphiel head back to rest area and check the flower more thoroughly before choosing the boon?

Before we go, I have a couple questions:
    1. Do the spear have it own mind or if we feed it too much it will go crazy and try to eat us? I just want to make sure.
    2. I think it better to keep the halo in our inventory because it can be broke by a lot of thing when we equip it.
    3. Can you go back and ask Magritte about Izzy power, pls? We did ask but she didn’t say anything about it.

I'll just clarify one of these here. She doesn't know about his powers. Her saying that there was no fighting was sort of subtly hinting that she doesn't actually know what powers he has other than his strength, dexterity and flight.

Yeah, let’s put off the boon for now (might be best to save it for after we beat Breaker so we can identify his drops) and check on the flower.

I knew timey-wimey stuff meant more than a year had passed, but I didn’t think it had been twenty. Fortunately, we only need to defeat Lord Windgrace to move on, not kill him. (I was worried that Izzy would be the wandering floor monster, which was the absolute worst case scenario). The fact that he’s obsessed with Ash Meddai seems odd to me, he was dead by the time Izzy was born. This may be a scheme by Malia. I’m hoping we can talk him down. But if we have to fight, here’s a bit more info:
Due to the complicated circumstances of Izzy’s conception, he’s a mix of four different creatures. Goblin and Angel have been mentioned. The third was Sower, a humanoid boar monster who was the wandering floor monster of the second floor. The fourth was a Mindflayer, a creature with powerful psychic abilities. In the worst case, Izzy has those. I’m not sure what countermeasures we can use against that but we should keep it in mind.
