Tower of Voices: Second Run Voting Thread

Let's continue our exploration for now. That fight will be a problem for later.

 

Oh yeah, we’ll definitely wanna save this fight for last. Guess we just have more exploring to do for now. Is there anything else we haven’t covered besides the path to the goblin cave? I wanted to save that for last, but if we’ve gone everywhere else then I guess that’s our next stop. Move cautiously and be ready to retreat if Breaker or Izzy show up. Ideally, I’d like to feed a few cultists to the spear before we get to another big fight.

 

Newest Chapter: Into Goblin Home

 

I’m of two minds about this. If we fight them, we deplete their numbers and feed the spear (also I don’t mind killing these shitheads). But our goal is to talk Izzy out of this, and killing his subordinates might give the wrong impression. Take, ask if we can speak to Lord Windgrace. But don’t go into the cave, I don’t want to deal with their superior numbers. If at all possible, I want to speak to Izzy directly to try to talk him down from this.

But if we have no choice besides fighting these cultists and going deeper, Take should use the spear and her magic, and Malphiel should use the helmet and gauntlets combo like usual. We’ll save her mana to heal afterwards.

Also of note: We haven’t seen Dreg on this floor so far, which means he’s here. Iirc, he was in the goblin caves last time, and used his ability to keep Lumberer away to force the goblins to sleep with him. He’s probably worked out a similar deal with Izzy to keep Breaker from bothering the cult.

 

Feeding Dreg to spear might be worth the trouble, but Take may not yet be ready for that fight.

Peaceful discussion with Izzy is really preferable now.
