What is one random story bit you are proud of?

In contrast to entire stories, what is one twist/introduction/chapter you are most proud of? Either taking someone else’s story and adding an idea that is fun or just your favorite new story beginning chapter, etc.

I’ll comment with two I have next.

 

There's at least one I'm considering adding to and adding a twist to part of the opening.

 

I thought Rowena's long trek back through the tunnel in Pipe-weed Dreams came out very well and heartfelt.

 

I’ll start with being amused at the game show idea for the New Universes story because it was just so stupid a framing device.
