Is there a good place where I can test my formatting for CHYOO? I want to try a few complex things involving tables and pictures.
You could test it by saving as draft. If you use markdown (using tables implies that) you could also use a markdown editor or a markdown extension for word processing program.
I tried that... but none of the formatting actually seemed to work, so I assumed that it just didn't show up in a draft. I couldn't even get a word to *italicize* by putting a pair of asterisks around it, let alone the fancier stuff.
It also works after saving a draft. Did you deactivate the option "Use the rich text editor to create and edit chapters" on the Settings page?
