So I have two ideas that involve time travel/manipulation. 1) Ripped off shamelessly from that one futurama episode. A story where our Hero/Heroine finds that time keeps jumping forward. More often than not they find themselves in a compromising postion after the skip. So the obvious one is meeting a new person and having a bad introduction, they instantly declare they would never want to sleep with that person. Smash cut to them in bed with that person. Could prob get a fair amount of stuff out of that. 2) The other idea is more straightforward, our protagonist finds themselves with the ability to freeze time in ten minute blocks. They take advantage of this in all the ways people usually do. The wrinkle I thought of is that the power only seems to work in situations when they seem someone being a massive asshole. Basically a Instant Karma power.
The first idea sounds pretty interesting to me, and could be fun to write and read. It seems that to me, that it wouldn't really bring something new to the table. I believe that i have seen several such stories at chyoa already, where the main character gets some kind of time-stop like power.
Maybe if there is only a determined or random amount of time until the time-stop ends, needing some time to recharge.
Yeah the second is pretty standard, the only wrinkle being that they only get the power when they see someone being an asshole.
Not really feeling the second one, it feels like you just want to make Time Stop Man from all the hentai comics. The first one might be interesting to kick it up a notch and say that the time-skips can also go backwards where people are forced to relive previous blocks of time. Normally only a few minutes, but since their actions are already set you're just along for the ride in your own body, for better or worse. In my head I've already taken to calling the idea "Time Quakes". That might be taken though.
yeah, I have some time stop stories. There seems not to be a lot of us who are into that, but if you start a new TS story, I'll be happy to contribute!
I rembember that one, you could definitely get something nice out of this. You'll also get to skip a lot of tedious explanations and build up chapters
How about a combo where the person can't control their abilities at first, but over time learn to. They have ten minute blocks with someone before smash cutting to them doing it to that person. Gets caught ends up in an awkward position then time jumps. Slowly learning from experience that actions they do can impact their jumps. Creates a massive comical science-fiction adventure story.
I think the real fun could be the chapter titles just being "ask for a blowjob" while the start of the page is going forward *or backwards* in time. It would be fun to say "cum in her" and then actually start the scene over again.
