As of this morning (9/2/17) whenever I try to read a story on my iPhone, the screen automatically loads a porn site and I can't get back to the CHYOA page. It essentially renders CHYOA useless. CHYOA is the only site on which I am experiencing this issue, so I have to think its something imbedded within the CHYOA code. With that said, I am the first person reporting this, so I'm not sure if this is just my phone or something which others are experiencing. I should also say that CHYOA is working fine on my computer. So its purely an iPhone issue for me. Anyone know what is going on? Is it just my phone or is this happening to everyone?
It loads a porn page on an Android as well but at least it also opens up a new tab with the page I was going to. So I just close the other tab and deal with that minor annoyance.
I've noticed that accessing CHYOA on my iPhone usually results in a second tab opening with a porn ad (usually, it's pornstar Dillon Harper taking a survey on what kind of tits I like). But the tab pops under, not over, the CHYOA page; and, it's easily closed. I suggest you try updating your iPhone to the latest iOS if you haven't already, that might make a difference.
I'm getting unverified server requests. I cancel the prompt as it seems to want to force me to specific websites. It's very annoying. Must be the ad provider not vetting adverts.
One of the sites that ads are automatically redirecting me to without me clicking it is a malicious form of Adware. It's called "becanium" I suggest searching for a way to remove it. There are a lot of websites that describe how to remove it so if you don't like this link feel free to search on your own.
