I had an idea for a story and I wanted to see what you guys thought. It combines elements from two of my favorite stories here on CHYOA. True Fan and The Darkness. The basic idea is that it would be a female protagonist (name decided by reader) who is about to go to pop culture convention. Two days before she is set to leave, a close family member (something like an aunt or an uncle) dies. She can't make it to the funeral and needs to get her mind off the death so she plans to go to her con and try to have fun. She was going to drive by herself but a friend (chosen by the reader) goes with her. There are different things that can happen either on the way to the con or at the con that will increase her vulnerability to the point where she'll do something she might regret (but you won't ).
You could do it as fan fiction to focus on the celebrities if that's your angle. Else it seems like it could work.
