This is basicly a choose your own adventure site but with dicks, so my question is why is it missing one of the biggest parts of that. Having choices feed back into a central storyline. It could be done as is but it would be a massive pain. An example is you start you either move forward or back but on both choices you fall and then move to the next part of getting up. A good choose your own adventure type thing has a few dead ends but most introduce a number of variables (eye color and stuff) that are slotted in where needed and one or two big changes around the middle or end of the story. The name variable system is great but it needs to be expanded and a simple drag and drop system that allows you to see what goes where on a map would be amazing.

There is a way to link a thread to another existing story thread described here.
Currently there is no user interface to do that.

A more complex way of controlling the possible decisions of the characters were discussed here.
Maybe this feature will be available in the future.

A value system would be simplish and allow a lot of stuff. The thread thing helps but it is not what I a looking for. Think of it this way there are 3 roads that split and meet, you start you choose a path but you end up at the same place. Right now threats have numbers like 5.3, there is no way I can find to WITHIN a thread have 1.5 go right to 3.2 or something like that. It would allow story threads to keep going not just end.

Also if you used a value system you could assign a simple system where you choose something like to drink milk it adds a 1 to a value and later it does a check sees the vaule is 1 and an option pops up saying "Hey i too like milk" or some shit

A system like that was discussed in the second link I posted above.

I'm not sure, if and when this system will be implemented or if it is already in development.
Maybe Friedman can give more information about that.
