Jever listens to his doubles thoughts as he enters the upstairs of the Kurosawa family business. He couldn't possibly let her know that he wasn't actually there, but insteadin one of the most dangerous parts of the city. He sat for a bit studying the creatures and his teammates having some fun. These dark creatures were just slightly taller then himself and now was the time to roll out his turn in the all of the fun. "This party needs a spark!" (rolled a 8, elemental lighting bolt +3 (very loud), combat +2, illusion silver tongue +1 with hallucination (multi Jevers), and for cool shades +1) He looks at the group pulling his shades down coolly responding "Anything else?" Building shakes around them after the show. ********************************** "And so Akemi I am currently dealing with more serious matters, but my double self here would will choose his bed tonight that the real self will be sleeping in the near future. If there is any information you may carry on Tai Hou..." Jever finishes up his long speech with Akemi. Akemi pulls out a letter out of her desk and hands it to Jever. He reads it then places it back on the desk to allow Akemi to place it back in the desk. Jever walks out to begin his search on which girl he will soon be sleeping with.
Arcana nearly shrieked out loud when she witnessed the group of menacing shadow creatures emerge out of the darkness, but thankfully keep enough control of herself not to. Instead, her mind shrieked instead. "HELP!" Immediately, she tried to duck for cover, attempting to move out of the charging shadow monsters. Muttering an incantation at a volume no one could hear and tracing well practiced motions with her hands she opened a mystical portal. (rolls of 5 and 1 +2 for OCCULT = 8 Total (Not wearing Rune Trench Coat (Wearing A trench coat but not the Rune Trench Coat))) A moment after the portal opened a group of five creatures that looked like a cross between imps and goblins tumbled through. They looked at her with a confused expression before Arcana pointed towards the shadow creatures and commanded "Stop them!" The group of goblin-imps turned their attention in direction Arcana was pointing and with gleeful smiles filled with insanity shouted an inarticulate "BLLLAAGGGGHHHH!!!" and joyously charged the shadow creatures.
Four of the five goblin-imps that Arcana summoned plowed into the assaulting shadow creatures with wild abandon, attacking like demons and laughing like idiots all the while. While they all had the same general shape, their leathery hides bore different hues. The brownish-yellow one was the biggest and slammed into the center of the shadows' line (Rolls of 2 & 4 +1 = 7) striking with brute force. The bluish-white one was the most lithe and tried to strike quick, precise blows (Rolls of 1 & 2 +1 = 4). The greenish-gray one moved a little towards the left and hit with a double axe-handle strike (Rolls of 2 & 1 +1 = 4). Meanwhile the reddish-orange one took the right and swung with a wide attack (Rolls of 4 & 4 +1 = 9). The pink-purple one was last and stopped just shy of the end of the shadows' battle line. It was there he flipped up his loincloth revealing a disproportionately large penis to his body size. "BLLLAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" he screamed into the face of one shadow and proceeded to masturbate furiously.
The lightning crackled and sizzled, as the creatures screamed with an inhuman cry that belayed their shape. When the smoke cleared, it seemed they were in for more of a surprise. Impish minions coming out of the wood work... although the one masturbaiting simply got a confused, side long glace from one of the shadow creatures. As for the fight, it met for varying degrees of success. 10+ Your action goes through as stated, no strings attached. 7-9 Your managed to hit them. But…. take one of the following. -You made to much noise (push threat meter up) -You got hit (roll damage) -An ally is hit (ally rolls damage) -You lose your footing -You lose control over your weapon 6 or below Well, that could have gone better. Choose 2 from the previous list, you also fail to hit them. Brown and Orange take the 7-9 roll, while grey and blue take the under 6 result
With all five of the goblin-imps shouting as they charged into battle, attention was drawn to the street (four counts of "You made too much noise"). With his fancy footwork the bluish-white one tripped over his own feet and fell, face first, into the pavement (You lose your footing). The greenish-gray one missed with his overhead chop and was left exposed to a counter attack (You got hit. Roll of 6).
Eyes stared from buildings, some human, some other, as the fight went on between the creatures. The entire ordeal drew a lot of attention, as several of the shadow creatures shrieked and vanished into the night. The third hissed, clawing at the ground, before fleeing into the darkness of one of the near by allies. You could give chase, or leave back to your handler. The summoned minion who took the hit was lightly damaged, a gash across it's chest, nothing a little RnR couldn't fix. They weren't mortal after all, they'd likely recover in time. (Battle End Result (Unless you chase) One of the minions takes 2 damage, mitigated by its armor.) The area where the creatures fell left what appeared to be blackened dust that smelled distantly of blood and sulfer. No other traces remained, however, and it doesn't appear any of the watching eyes are interested beyond the scuffle.
Jever disappears into thin air making his decision at the Kurosawa's after leaving one of the girls bedrooms that he will be visiting later. ********************************** (Roll of 7) All that lighting made too much noise rattling the neighborhood. Swiftly moving out of there as the last lighting bolts strike the creatures. Distraction without having some fun. He steps outside of the building with the rest of the group. Shaking the last of the static electricity that was on him. He takes his glasses off to readjust to the sunlight. His astral powers were not ready just yet. His double has chosen the bed he would be sleeping in tonight on the other side of the city.
Poisonhook put away his katana and clapped slowly. "Right, now that they're gone, I think we should be moving. We have a lot of places to check - the temples in this disrict, to start with, and then the other warded districts - and we should be gone before someone calls their private security."
10+ Your action goes through as stated, no strings attached. 7-9 Your managed to hit them. But…. take one of the following. -You made to much noise (push threat meter up) -You got hit (roll damage) -An ally is hit (ally rolls damage) -You lose your footing -You lose control over your weapon If you choose damage, roll for damage (to Jevar)
forgot damage You made too much noise using the lighting element on the creatures. Strangers in the neighborhood look at the noise pushing the threat meter up on him. He should have picked a element that made less noise. Knowing what creatures he had to face fire might have been more exciting, but considering they were in a building fire might have created smoke and that would have attracted far more then necessary. Jever breathes the fresh air outside waiting for what is next. Giving the strangers the finger and his tongue out to them with a few curse words included.
Finishing off the creatures, they were free to leave. By now, they had caused so much noise that the normally quiet streets seemed like a riot zone, with anyone who cared to look seeing flashes of lightning, screaming, battle cries and the like. Needless to say, anyone who cared to ask was going to not have to look to far if they asked for information on what happened. (Currently at 5/8 mission strikes, miiiiight wanna not keep causing to much noise, cause you guys havn't even started investigating anything yet I get not wanting to take damage, but you got a crrraaaaap ton of minions, and your hit pools, word of advice, bite the bullet sometimes) Getting back on the subway train, it was even emptier than before. One of the last rides of the night, after all, so anyone left was likely either sleeping on the train, or had some reason to be up this late. It was common knowledge not to ask to many questions, especially with undead such as vampires and the like roaming the street and deciding on their next meal. By the time they got back into Shinjuku proper, where the normal weirdos and freaks were, it was 11:23 pm, not to far from midnight. Tai Hou's night club was just as lively as before, with prostitutes being snagged, hook ups happening, and the few drug deals in the back alleys. They had their mission. Now it was time for prep. Mission Perimeters: Find the location of the box Retrieve the box Return it to Bel Mission Fail Attract to much attention to yourselves, resetting the mission, losing credits ante'd Fail to bring back the box (Luna can go ahead and roll her Private Eye stuff, Tai Hou can do any of her Boss stuff, anyone else is free to investigate and prep at their leisure.)
((Sex Trade: 4+3=7; Jobs: 4+5=9)) The Tai Hou was busy looking over the information that she had written down that the others had brought to her attention. This job was going to be the one that would bring her back into the middle of the action, spearheading her growth and allow her to strengthen her hold in Shinjuku. She had set up her little emperor to run itself smoothly enough, give or take some situations where she would have to intervene and keep things progressing. But it wasn't often that situations like that happened, so she allowed herself to think over the job. <Sex Trade job, gain Intel but...Gain a Threat> There was a knock on her office before one of her goons/bouncers came in and did a respectful bow to her. Raising a brow, the Tai Hou was curious as to why this minion of hers was interrupting her important business time. The goon then looked up to her and sighed. "My apologies, my Tai Hou...but, it seems one of the clients has become belligerent and is holding one of the girls hostage. We are unable to figure out what has tipped him over the edge." Now it was the Tai Hou's turn to sigh as she took a gloved hand to rub her forehead. Putting the papers away, she took another drag and reclined in her chair. She thought for a moment before nodding, "Alright...we've dealt with this before. All we need to do is-" <Jobs, gain +1 Cred and +1 Goon but...lose -1 Goon> She was interrupted as another goon came in rushing, "Tai Hou! Sorry to interrupt, but the situation has gotten worse! We just got a new guy onto the force, and he decided to take negotiations with the client. We don't know how, but now he is also a hostage." The Tai Hou looked dumbfounded for a bit before shaking her head. She put away the cigarette and stood up. She reached into one of the shelves of the desk and brought a traditional Chinese geisha mask (cool shades) and a small blade. Lifting the skirt, she put the blade into a thigh holster to discretely hide it. Putting on the mask, she looked to her goons and nodded. "Take me to them." That was all the command that was needed as her two guards and the two reporting goons escorted her to the room where the situation was happening. There were a few other goons there, all of them wondering how to handle the situation. Once they saw their boss, they only seemed to get a bit more nervous...this was high stakes now. The Tai Hou gave them no mind as she peered inside the room. The client, a local street tough named Garroth according to one of her guards, was busy screaming in orcish about something. He was holding one of the goons, most likely the new guy, by the throat. Judging by the blue coloration, he wasn't doing so good. As for the girl, she was behind him, and clearly in terror. Whatever had pissed this orc off, it was enough to risk death. Taking in a deep breath, the Tai Hou raised her voice in hopes of gaining the attention of the thug, "Garroth! I am the Tai Hou, and I am here to negotiate! Let go of the damn fool before you kill him and we can talk!"
The orc turned around, tossing the now unconscious goon to the side as he snarled. "This little whore called my dick little green! Does this look like something LITTLE GREEN COULD DO?" He scowled, turning his attention back to the whore. "Is it, whore!?" Clearly he was more than a bit irked about the situation, as he turned back to Tai Hou, taking out his dick and showing it to her. It was decently sized, although perhaps small for an orc. On most smaller races it'd fill most knooks shoved into. "Does it!?"
With the battle complete, Arcana's goblin-imps performed curious actions. The bluish-white one sat up and coddled his twisted ankle, while the greenish-gray one nursed the blow to his chest. Of the other three, the brownish-yellow one charged and leaped into Serena's generous bosom where he proceeded to grope and motorboat her breasts, meanwhile the reddish-orange one latched onto Luna leg and began to hump vigorously. The pinkish-purple one continued to stand and masturbate. In a huff of annoyance, Arcana reversed the spell and cast her little minions back into the ether. "Sorry about that." She apologized. "They're like rambunctious children." The metro ride back to the night club was thankfully quiet, and when Arcana delivered the dossier to the Tai Hou she quickly excused herself and left. Once outside she gave out a little huff, she knew little about the Reliquary, and even less about this box. What she needed was some sort of contact and she didn't know where she might start. With a sigh she leaned back against the wall of the night club and shook her head. "Where to start?" she thought to herself. She slid her hands inside her coat pockets and was surprised to find something in there. Curiously she pulled out a piece of paper and looked at the address written on it, and she remembered the orc from earlier in the club. "No way he knows anything about it." she thought to herself with a laugh. But then after a moment "Couldn't hurt to try though." With no better plan, she started off for the address.
For Serena and Luna, the train ride was probably a bit stickier than it should have been. Demonic pre and saliva was hard to remove after all. The others arrived just in time to see the orc whip out his dick and yell something about little green. The dark elf hadn't done anything yet. But, elves and orcs. She was probably marveling at. Or perhaps the more likely idea, was she was mulling over which parts were getting chopped up. Arcana's way was lit by red lights, and at this hour, her sharp ears could pick up the sound of one night stands, hook ups, and people already getting a bit to sick for their own good. Fine, upstanding citizens by day would turn to these warded districts at night to cut loose and get a bit of strange, drugs, or in some cases a fight. Still, whether or not they returned home was based on how they behaved, and more than one person had ended up in Tokyo Bay after a seemingly innocent trip, mouthing off to the wrong person. Finally, Arcana made it to the love hotel she had been invited to. The orc would likely know nothing. But Arcana likely wasn't here for information gathering, even if her rational mind said that was what it was. That said, she could make out several people that looked familiar going into various rooms with various creatures. Dark Elves, usually. But the occasional gnome or even Cambrion wasn't to out of place. Political figures, perhaps? Moaning assailed her ears, dirty talk, and even muffled sounds that within recent history had been all to familiar for the half elf. The sound of heavy foot falls was coming up slowly from behind, attempting to sneak up on her. Her ears were sharp though, one of the traits from her elven side.
After starting a small riot, the last thing they would need is more attention. Poisonhook cracked his knuckles and started to work. He needed a way to get close to the orc without alerting him... Infiltrating (unless I can only do it once per mission): Roll 5 + 2 Intellligence + 1 Stealth Suit = 8.
Despite the time that had passed between then and now, Arcana's arousal hadn't dissipated after her encounter with the orc. While it had diminished, and she had put it out of her mind completely during the fight, after the battle, sitting on the metro, as her heartbeat raced her emotions came flooding back. She'd rushed out of the nightclub in a flushed haze and made her way to the love hotel in a growing heat. The sights and sounds about her didn't help to diffuse her arousal; in fact her sharp elven ears picked up every thrust, every moan, every squeal of delight around her and it only served to fuel her burning lust. So lost in the lewd sounds was she that she almost missed the sounds of someone approaching her from behind. But one didn't live in Shinjuku and not pay careful attention to your surroundings for danger. That was how one ended up dead. Tentatively, Arcana cast a look over her shoulder towards the person trying to sneak up on her.
The Tai Hou grimaced under her mask as the Orc went about and exposed himself, complaining about the comments one of her whores must have made. She probably thought it would have been a cute or sexy thing to say...this is why she made that rule about not making comments about a customer's dick unless it was talking about how good it was. It just causes too many issues. Trying to not sound too antagonistic or annoyed, she just calmly stated, "Not at all, dear sir...From where I'm standing, this is all coming from a mighty man with quite the thick member." She tried to think of how to handle this situation. She couldn't very well kill someone right here on the VIP floor...not only would it be impossible to get the gore out of the luxury carpeting, but it would also be bad for business. She also couldn't very well leave this sort of thing unpunished...she'd look weak and be a target. Well...might as well go for the middle ground... Trying to think of a quick way to convince him to leave, she quickly let out, "Please, calm down and relax, sir...We are here to serve you, and only ask for peace. To ease the pain of any inconvenience, I, the Tai Hou of Paradicio, am willing to offer you anything you need to heal. If you would come to my office, we may talk." ((Silver Tongue: 4+6=10+2 Silver Tongue+1 Cool Shades=13))
Watching the scene coming in with the group the only thing he could think of was stand quietly and hope this would be over shortly. There is alway one pissed off customer. Tai Hou emerges calming the Orc. The two head away from the scene in the direction of her office or at least somewhere more private. Does he follow or stick with the group? Figuring this business has nothing important to him he follows the rest of the group. No need to deal with small issues. What is that? Sensing a hidden figure that has been tracking them. Did his magical trail attract an unwanted company. He should have been more carefully when leaving the fight earlier. He waits for a move either from the unwanted figure or someone in the group before he makes a move. Hesitation wasn't his foreplay, but he needed to be careful now.
It could have been anyone, or anything, really. Arcana Gold was alone, a prime target for any sort of predator out there that wanted a seemingly easy victim. However, as the half elf turned to face her would be attacker, she was likely relieved to see it was the orc from before, who promptly moved upon her. Grabbing her shoulders, turning her around, and pinning her against the cool masonry of the love hotel. "I knew you'd come." He smirked, leaning in to press his lips against hers. She could still taste the alcohol on his lips as his tongue began to probe her mouth. That same long and hard appendage pressing against her once more. "All you elves come once you feel a real man." Finally relenting, he gripped her hand and began to drag her to one of the nearby rooms. Well, if she wanted to ask any questions, now was the chance. More likely anything after they entered would be moaning and grunts. *********************************** (Once before you enter anywhere, although Int is the correct roll, since you're attempting to use your guile and wits to get out of his view) Poisonhook, being an assassin that he was, melted into the night club. In the commotion, it wasn't to hard to do. Especially with Tai Hou distracting him, and the orc in such a rage that perception was likely not on his mind. As she snuck closer, however, he realized he'd likely have to reveal himself to one of Tai Hou's Minions, risk the Orc noticing at the last minute, or attempting to perform a feat of strength to hurl himself into the attack from above. The room was a bit to open for the assassin's complete favor, but at least there were plenty of avenues of attack. The orc seems to hesitate at that, releasing the man, and finally pulling up his pants. His ego avenged a bit, he said something to the whore, this one Tai Hou likely understood. It was a common orcish curse which ultimately meant 'Worth Dog Shit', before following the owner. "Hmph... maybe i'll make you compensate with your ass." He grumbled, following Tai Hou wherever she may lead. Well, that was one way she could handle this.
