This thread is the blank template for the Document Sheets for all Mockumentary Game plantations. These sheets, which must be updated every time you check in on your plantation and post a new set of orders in the turns resolution thread, hold all the info about your plantations resources and current status. By keeping the sheets up-to-date you and the moderators know what all your plantation has, what it needs, how it has grown, and so forth. Note that while this document is public your actual plantation sheet doesn't necessarily have to be, it could also be sent and maintained in a PM, or off-site in a Google Doc, or what have you, as long as all the game mods can have ready access to it and notate it as needed, but putting it up here in its own thread is probably the simplest and most efficient solution to your hosting needs. Now, on to the sheet itself... Name: (Pretty self-explanatory, every plantation has to have a name. If your one of those people that have trouble coming up with decent names, skip ahead a bit and name your character, then come back and name the plantation "(your-character's-last-name) Farms", it's not that expensive to change it later.) Owner(s): Name: (Ok, here's the hardest part of creating your plantation, naming your character. Your character is you in the game, your alter-ego, founder of your dynasty: and their name will define them in many ways, for good or ill. The good news is, you have some benchmarks here to help you: what is the gender you've selected on the forum and main site? If its male, you can cross off all female names, if female, all male memes, and if you've picked male in one location and female in the other to obfuscate your true identity for this game that makes you a 'Herm' so you can cross off everything except 'unisex' names. Now, knowing that: the internet is your friend! There are hundreds of baby name websites out there with names from every culture on earth, pick something and go: say maybe you're of Japanese derivation IRL, but you don't want anyone to guess that? Well, try Africa then! Or perhaps you're proud of your Native-Mexican roots? There are sites for that too! The tricky part is the family name, that says a lot more about someone than their personal name: but there are resources for this as well. Google either "rare surnames of (region)" or "common surnames of (region)" and you will get a lot of inspiration.) Race: (Race is far easier than a name, it's decided by your forum profile picture when you join, so before you sign up just set that to say, a werewolf if you want to be a werewolf and boom, you're good.) Quality 1: (this is decided by your current experience level on the forum, from Virgin to CHYOA Guru.) Quality 2: (this is decided by your current experience level on the main site, from Virgin to CHYOA Guru.) Specialties: (you won't have any, to begin with...) Gender: (Male, Female, Herm, or Neuter, decided by your gender settings here and on the main site.) Age: (You can start at any age from 18 to 90. Starting at an age higher than your actual age IRL is not recommended though, as it is hard to play convincingly.) Great House: (This is where you list all the rooms your manor house has and how high quality you've made them/ what their benefits are.) Acreage: (This is where you note down how many acres you have cleared and under cultivation with what kinds of crops or devoted to other uses like pasture or mining or whatnot.) Resources: (This is where you list how many bushels of various foodstuffs you have on hand, what livestock you possess, what tools you have to work with, and things like that.) Slaves: Name: Race: Quality 1: Specialties: Quality 2: Specialties: Gender: Age: (Copy and paste as necessary for more slaves.)
