It pretty much paid for premium membership for years at a pay story site, but recently, I feel it's more important for my work to be as accessible as possible, rather than locked behind a paywall. For those who want the main cast: Brent: Main Character. Secretary, Married to Kaila for 2 years. Pretty average white guy, Firefly Fan. Kaila: MC's Wife of 2 years. Wants to be a mom, and the getaway was meant to make that happen. Charlotte: Girlfriend of Helen. Speaks with a Southern Accent and openly sexual in manner. Helen: Girlfriend of Charlotte, Can be a little bitchy, but straightforward and direct. So far these are the only characters that are included. I fully intend to add new characters and situations as the story progresses if that's what people are interested in seeing. If I get enough good ones, I'll post a poll so folks who like certain ones can chime in without having to post a "Me too".
one question ive been wanting to ask you about this story,is if you plan on adding any supernatural elements to it at all?
I've thought about it multiple times. I didn't for the MAIN path, but I see no problem whatsoever with adding a few if people are interested in that. There have been a few ideas running through my head of alternate scenes, and alternate direction, and adding in some supernatural stuff could be fun as hell. However, knowing MY fetishes, I'd probably take it in one of the following directions if I did add supernatural, so be warned.: 1: Gender Swap. (A fun one that people enjoy, and people asked me when I was first writing this if that was where I planned to take this, so that's always been in the back of my mind.) 2. Werewolves. (Because I have a thing for Monster scenes... No, not telling WHO would end up being it. ) 3. Ghost Story involving possession. (Same thing really... ) Thanks for reading and asking questions. I hope to answer all questions in a timely manner if possible.
Many thanks to Your_Ghostwriter, who's written some great sex scenes that I only hinted at in the original story. I highly recommend everybody check out his threads if they like this story, because they add a great deal of depth and tension to the story that I love.
Holy Crap. Over a thousand Likes! Thanks to everybody for reading, and thanks to my now Co-author on this, Your_Ghostwriter, who's been doing an incredible job helping me flesh out a few scenes, and now is helping with the main narrative as well! While the main direction of the story has not changed, it's gotten longer, a lot of the 20 something melodrama dumped and instead this is turning into the Poly Romance novel I always wanted to read.
This is an excellent story. Well written and very entertaining. The collaboration between the co-authors is seamless.
Thank you for the feedback! Your_Ghostwriter has been wonderful with communication and putting in incredibly good work, and I appreciate the heck out of them. One of the great things about having a Co-author with a different viewpoint is how much variety it brings to the scene, and it helps immeasurably having somebody to bounce ideas off and get feedback. Aaargh. Now I want to get back to work! Maybe after the Turkey's finished cooking. (No occasion, it was on sale and Turkeys are GREAT for cooking once and eating the rest of the week. )
Ok, Added a poll with all the suggestions and Ideas that I've had which DIDN'T involve the main story, and would be fun to get around to once I've finished it off. Things I won't be writing: "Bad Ends". (Not against their inclusion, just not something I personally want to write.) "Heartbreak Station where everybody is miserable and hates their life Ending" "MC becomes a willing wimp/cuck" (Again, not against its inclusion, just don't want to write it.) "Suddenly, the world ends and all that's left are these three..." (Yeah, different story, and If I really want to write that, I'll do it in one I should be getting back to writing.) And in the Spirit of my character Helen, here's a little music to vote to:

I am starting to learn that I should never put something on a Poll if I don't want to write it. Edit: Although, now... well, I'm a little intrigued and trying to figure out how to write it in.
LOL I am sure many of us here can relate to that sentiment! I've had votes absolutely kill some story threads. It is hard to stay motivated if you are heading in a direction you aren't really digging. That said I've had votes (one in particular) that I thought was not something I wanted to write but ended up being not only amazing as a writer but quite literally life changing. I try to tread carefully with votes nowadays. If I do a vote now I try to make sure each option is something I am genuinely interested in and I always make sure I follow through for at least a few chapters, and I make sure there is some smut along the way before allowing myself to drop it.
Well, just exceptionally glad that I specified AFTER the main path is finished. I'm leaning towards having it be another "Disaster" which turns into an amazing coincidental hot sex scene... Course, now I have to think how three other characters besides the main would react to another woman... and how they'd either like her... or NOT. (Which leads to some possibly fun scenes where minds get changed...) Aaargh... Add to the new "Mega-Happy Ending" which I have been hinting at, this is getting fun as heck!
Ok, I've decided to write in a VERY obvious Branch point where Brent's sister needs some help. For those folks who want the main story to continue unchanged, don't worry, this is just a set up for the later payoff after the main path is done. For those who want Incest, now's your opportunity to chime in with what you want to see as far as another woman in the story. Keep in mind Brent thinks of himself as a pretty average looking guy of English descent, so his sister will most likely be similar in appearance. No, I'm not making her Emma Watson, get that idea right out of your head. Karen Gillan... maybe. (You've got about a week if you want to chime in from NOW.)
Ok, I now at least have a NAME for Brent's sister. Imogene And yes, if you know Shakespeare, you know why I named her that.
Ok, so even though I'm NOT following the Incest path at this point, I'm really loving how it's naturally being set up. Fair disclosure and warning: Originally, the idea that I was working on was a Racoon infestation in the cabin. While it would have made sense, the stakes were LOW. Now, family getting into trouble with the police and needing to deal with that? Much higher stakes and much better reason for Brent to have to deal with it without his lovely accomplices in lust. So, thank you poll and people for adding a new wrinkle in the story that can go a couple ways. I intend to follow it both directions. Edit: The official first major bifurcation when I start to head into alternate endings will be the decision whether or not Brent goes to help his sister alone, or with one of the women in the cabin. Ironically, the one where he goes to help her alone will NOT be the one that leads to the incest path. Edit on edit: I plan on writing 5 endings in this order.
