Carmen listened carefully to what the superiors were saying. In the past, she heard of, and even met a few, heroes capable of giving some trouble to the dark overlord – but to think that one of them was actually capable of incapacitating the Dark Lord… Then her eyes focused on the newcomer – and her entire body froze. “Carmen...you look lovely” with this few worlds, old memories came crushing on her like a hurricane. She had to bit her lip to stop herself from moaning, as her body flushed with need. She wanted, no needed, sir Zander. She wanted to get on her knees, crawl up to him like a good bitch. She wanted him to push her on her knees grab her by her hair and plunge her pussy, she wanted him to fuck her face and dump his hot load into her stomach, she wanted him to ravage her ass as he groped and abused her tits, she wanted him to tease her, humiliate her, spank her… Hell, she even wanted for him to tie her and then ordered the lowest soldiers in the army to play with her, on his eyes. Carmen swallowed tickly and crossed her arms under her breasts. Suddenly she became aware of how excited her body was, how her entire skin was suddenly covered in sweat, how her sex juices flown down her tights, how her hard nipples pushed against the material of her dress – she was sure that they are clearly visible for anyone who looked at her. Carmen bit her lips, trying to regain her composure, and tried to concentrate on what was going on. She was sure that if Sir Zander wanted to play with her, there was little that would stop him from doing so. Hopefully, he would find some time for her after the meeting.
"Your will shall, of course, be done." Shesten bows - it's difficult to be too fawning at these events, he's heard. "Might I ask to be told what the needed ingredients for a new body would be?" To hismind, reconstruction would be the best path forward - His old body was obviously flawed, and materials were less likely to run away once taken. Not guaranteed, though... he still remember the incident with the magic vendor and the flying books. He looks over his companions, sizing them up for how useful they'll be, and notices one of them - Carmen Leroux, she'd called herself - seemed to be getting hot and horny. That was interesting. Maybe she was always that way, or maybe someone in the room was arousing her, magically or naturally. Either way, he'd be seeing about bedding her once they were out of this place.
I contemplate for several moments as I listen to the task at hand and the input of my companions before answering. "I find myself agreeing with the kobold. Any body powerful enough for a Dark Lord to inhabit would be difficult to pin down unless the body was willing to begin with and if there was a willing volunteer who could do such already, then we wouldn't be needed. Certainly the tools to create a powerful body would be difficult as well, but I think within our capabilities."
All: "Told you." Eli stuck his tongue out which resulted in another light smack to the shoulder from Ash. "Shut up." She said firmly, but it didn't stop Eli from looking at the group, proud of himself. "She's just mad, 'cause I was right. We need a new one. Not just the old version of something that we already know is destroyed. The best way to do that would be possession." "...it might seem odd to say it, but Eli did in fact, come up with a rather effective plan to that effect." Atis glanced at the pinkette who nodded vigorously. "So, there is more than just one person who would work and...yeah. It would be better if someone agreed to it...but almost infinite power sounds pretty cool to a lot of people. But...the person doesn't so much need to be strong, as just magical in nature and pure. Evil God King corruption doesn't mix with low class corruption. Like if someone lives a sheltered life, they usually make the best hosts. It's why all the Dark Lords love kidnapping princesses. But I guess anyone works as long as a few things line up. They need to be decently young. Like under 35 at best. They have to be a virgin. Dunno why that rule is there, but it is. They are pretty much pure of heart. So, I could do like two of three of those things but... get this..." Eli took a breath from his long winded talking. "There's two human kingdoms almost always at war with each other. Everyone hates everyone, but a few of them want to push for a political alliance. They're going to marry this super nice girl who just happens to be magically talented even if she doesn't know it. Know what else is interesting? These people don't do sex before marriage. She's not going to wanna be forced into a marriage though, so she'll probably want a way out of it. If she went missing, then they would blame it on all the extremist peoples and start going at war with each other more than ever. Then they will be all weak and tired, so when we finally do make our move, we'll pretty much win super easy." Eli laughed as Ash gave him a bit of look. "I refuse to believe you thought of this on your own." "I still favor reconstruction." Atis looked at Eli with a calm gaze before returning her look to the group. "Constructing a body as large as the one he had before would be challenging, but it would be possible to design something smaller and can house more energy. Assuming a spark of life at 6 and half souls per minute over a capacity and volume of-" Both Ash and Eli groaned at the same time rolling their eyes. "My brain hurts." Eli complained and Ash gave something of a stare. "They don't care about the nerd talk. Just what do they need?" "Many things, but many that can be acquired fairly simply by people I already have deployed at mines to extract ore as we speak. The things that would be needed to acquire would be Devil's Throne leaves. A plant that is near extinct and only grows inside the garden of a human world magic school. That's necessary to stabilize biological components. Then..an particular amulet for channeling life energy used by druids in their rituals. The good news is that the amulet needed exists in our world. It's made problematic by the druid convent in question is rather elusive and hostile to anything they don't perceive as part of them. Most importantly....a fragment from the weapon that was used to expel him from his body. Which would mean finding the one whose holding it." "I know what you're thinking...but no." Ash responded before the group could ask. "He slipped away before I could finish him. Except...now he has only one eye, one arm and a crippled leg that I don't know is ever gonna heal. My weapon..is special in making sure people don't get back up." The fact she actually smiles a little when says that, is not treated as a good sign from her younger sibling. Ash continued to look at the group. "Believe me. There's no hurry. He isn't recovering anytime soon. Really...there's not too much of a time stamp on any of this." Ash looked up at the bluish and white soul above. "He's not going anywhere anytime soon."
Cera watches with amusement the interactions between the pinkette and the two women. So lady Atis is a bit of a nerd, huh... Wouldn't have guessed. After the explanations are over Cera takes a while to consider all possibilities she can think of before speaking. “Well, it never hurts to have a backup plan. I think we should focus on the girl for now, and try constructing a new body only if that doesn't work out as expected. As for why the girl first – that's probably obvious to everyone...” She pauses briefly, but then decides to explain, just in case it's not as obvious as it seems to her. “There are too many things about the girl that are out of our control. The marriage might get rushed due to political reasons. Extremists might assassinate her in order to restart the war – which will help weaken the kingdoms but won't be of any help with our task. She might die during a natural occurrence, such as an earthquake or a flood... And so on – there are likely dozens of other things that could lead to the girl losing her life, or at least the 'qualifications' required for our task. The longer we wait – the greater the chance of something going wrong. Thus the sooner we get to her – the better.” Cera makes a brief pause to catch her breath before continuing. “Devil's Throne leaves are likely well protected inside the school's garden, especially if the people there know how rare they are. It is a lot less likely for something to happen to them. Same with the amulet – the druids will probably protect it with their lives due to how important it is for them, so something happening to it is not very likely. As for the weapon – I'm sure lady Ash knows what she's talking about. If she says that the person won't recover – then they won't. Though they might sell the weapon for whatever reason... but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It might even make it easier to get the weapon.” She pauses again before finishing her little speech. “Due to the reasons I just listed I think the best course of action would be to try getting the girl first. Does anyone have any objections to that idea? Or suggestions, or anything to add?” As she asks that she looks at all the other people present – both her four superiors and the other four that were called just like her.
"Your logic is sound Cera, as far as I can see, and the girl brings us another advantage, she would once convinced to assist, give our liege the advantage that Feminine individuals are often underestimated by our adversaries, a flaw that would be easily exploited to our benefit," Kraltha-Tan reasons. Meanwhile, Kraltha too notes Carmine's aroused state, and thinks to herself that a little encounter with her later might be enjoyable, then notices Shesten noticing and for a hands count of seconds entertains images of all three being engaged together... Idle imaginings, but entertaining for a few moments, it's all too likely the swarthy human woman would not even appreciate their advances...
I glance at the others in the room and take note of all of the lustful glances going around and sigh. "Of course, my biggest concern is keeping her safe after we capture this girl. It may be difficult to retain her qualifications with all of the philanderer's and womanisers in our group..."
Kraltha bristles at the insinuation that she is going to compromise the mission for Lust's sake. "Anyone so foolish as to make an untoward GESTURE will be answering to ME even before our lovely hosts have a chance to meet out punishment..." She replies in a vulpine purr.
"Of course, under your peerless eyes, Lady Kraltha-Tan nobody shall even consider touching the young lady." I give an amused chuckle; satisfied at recruiting an extra set of eyes to keep an eye on our potential captive when the time comes.
"I was thinking of suggesting this later, but since we're already on the topic of keeping the girl safe and a virgin... we could bring a chastity belt for her, just in case. Assuming that she's not wearing one already, that is - I've heard stories that in some lands girls are required to wear a chastity belt until they are married." Cera pauses for a moment. "If we are going after the girl we should start by learning a bit more about the country where she lives, especially about any local customs we need to keep in mind. In some areas customs are very important - enough to get you thrown in prison if you say or do the wrong thing."
Kraltha-Tan nods thoughtfully at Cera's words and turns to the four people before them expectantly...
All: "The kingdom in question just so happens to be Avatha. My home nation." Zander having spoken the least at this point, now raises his voices as he talks. "It's one of the few countries that works on their physical abilities instead of magical ones and can still come out the winner against the Yedo Dynasty which they've been fighting for years. I cannot tell you with complete certainty everything is the same since I have last seen it, but while it is military oriented, it's far from tyrannical....yes, the penalty for theft on a noble person is the loss of a hand, but it's not like we're the first ones to do it. A lot of the aggression comes from the churches influence rather than the nobility itself....though I doubt it would be that had to find a nobleman who is only concerned with themselves." Zander made a pause before an clearly irritated look came on his face. "....and it's also the home country of the one who made all of this happen to start." "I wouldn't worry about going out of your way about that. If you seen an opportunity, sure. But it's not like he's going to be in fighting shape anytime soon either." Ash interjected. "And that's a cool speech, Zander. It is. Except where all of that is wrong." Ash said it as Eli nodded along. "Unlike Avathan's, the Yedo Dynasty doesn't hate what it doesn't understand. So...yeah. The occasional summoning practice goes wrong or someone ends up turned into a slime. Not a big deal. It's like getting scrapped knees growing up. I never bothered with all that dumb book shit too much, but it's not like magic is actually bad. They both use magic, just differently." "I can't speak about personal experiences of either, but it was my understanding the Yedo were much more financially capable and have a tendency to hire mercenaries to make up for the weaknesses of numbers and actual power of their own army. It's a classic situation of one group favoring brain against brawn. Force against subtlety." Atis gave her own thoughts and none of them said anything to tell her that she was wrong as she continued. "The Yedo tend to create or bring monsters in their country one way or another either for combat purposes or for research. Supposedly entire villages exist in their lands that are nothing but non human beings. Following that, Avatha spends a good amount of their budget hiring them as mercenaries. For obvious reasons, many don't relish being sent to combat to die or being tested on. And they carry knowledge about what the Dynasty is up to. While the Yedo are out finding new information, the Avathan's will know as soon as they do. Ultimately, it's not uncommon to see non humans in either country, though the amount of trust that either has to provide to them is limited." "Umm...it's going to be super ass hot, so you're gonna want to drink lot's of water. People can die of heat stroke during the winter, soooo...might just wanna think about that." Eli gave his thoughts apparently not seeming to have as much to add. (OOC: I know this is a lot of information to be dumping all at once, but these exposition things can't be helped.)
“It’s been a while since I’ve been in the kingdoms… I wonder if they forgot about me.” Carmen muses out loud while trying to put down the lust that ravaged her body. The way the Kobold was looking at her didn’t help. She bit her lips, trying to concentrate. Maybe she will have him use her at a later time - she was in need of such distractions. This whole meeting… it was not right. Sending a bunch of nobodies for such an important task was not right. She might be a captain but she knew exactly how disposable she was. ‘We are a decoy.’ She concluded in her thoughts. Carmen would ask Sir Zander later. It didn’t matter in the end. She would follow any order he gave. If he gave an order, she would forfeit her life…
Cera blinks a couple of times after hearing Eli's comment. “Wait, people can die of a heat stroke during Avatha's winter? Did you mean to say 'summer'? Because if the winter is hot enough for people to die from heat strokes, I don't want to even think about what the Avathan summer must be like... What do the people there use for protection from the heat, anyway?” The elf pauses and focuses on the rest of the info they have been provided, trying to think of what else might be of help to them. “Anything in particular we should know about the girl, the people around her, and the place where she lives? Or, if she's not home at the moment, the place where she currently is?” She pauses again. “The people around her, such as her maids, are of particular importance. They can prove to be the biggest obstacle... or the greatest aid, depending on how we handle things...” She stops there, waiting to hear the answers before asking further questions. (OOC: I don't mind the info dump, it's really not that bad. Though it was a bit hard to come up with a good reaction, hence the rather short post.)
Kraltha-Tan liked this glut of information, it was useful. She had little patience for having to squeeze information out of people a few drops at a time, but it now seemed she might have to: "With specific regard to aerial individuals such as myself and Dromani, what are the respective policies?" Kraltha-Tan asked...
"I appreciate the thought, Lady Kraltha. However, I am not a long-distance flier like yourself. It's probably best if we stick to the ground for the most part outside of emergencies. We do not wish to attract undue attention and there's not enough people in our little group with the capability of flight in order to use it to make travel more expedient."
"Agreed." she nodded to the creature that spoke - Hybrid? Sphinks? Chimaera? Some kind of subspecies of Harpy? She wasn't sure. Carmen thinks for a moment then nods. “So to sum up. We have to infiltrate the capital, kidnap a princess while blaming someone else, then return with princess here. We might as well infiltrate the extremist faction... Taking some of my subordinates might help us a long way in this tasks, as well as information gathering.” she murmured the last part to herself. Carmen looks at sir Zander. Her cheeks immediately covered with a bright shade of red as her pussy clenched with need. She hoped for him to give her some kind of sign of approval… or disapproval, really. One sight, one gesture from him would be enough to make her cum… or to continue keeping her suspended. Sight. At this rate, she might later crawl to the damn Kobold and beg him to tie her and fuck her like a slut she was. "Forgive my lack of knowledge, but are you some kind of Chimera?" She asks the creature she spoken to earlier while keeping her eye on Sir Zander.
All: "Mmm...no? I definitely said winter." Eli looked a little confused and Atis took a step forward not giving the rest a chance to speak. "Avatha would be in a normal climate if it wasn't due to Yedo mages and the mass production of channeling crystals. The practice being performed by an entire kingdom with factories to develop these crystals has caused the effects of magical radiation to be felt by their neighbors. It's among the biggest reasons for Avatha's grudge against most forms of magic. In the Yedo Dynasty itself, I'm told the air is so toxic that the only reason they can survive in their own homeland is by magical mutations. " Zander took a step forward now and gave Carmen something of a conflicted smile. Much like the kind you give someone to be polite despite the fact that you want them to go away. His eyes fixed on Kraltha, though not with any expression of interest. "Normally, flying creatures are allowed to do it outside of the walls. Inside them, only those part of the guard or messengers are allowed. At least those are the rules when I was still there. It's entirely possible they may have changed since then, though it's unlikely to have. Avathan's tend not to enjoy change." He then fixed his gave between Cera and Kraltha, still looking uninterested. "Many of the buildings are ironically, cooled by the same crystals that are the cause in the first place. The radiation is actually mostly harmless within our territory unless you're already very ill to start. Worst case scenario, just about every shop carries remedies and elixirs for dealing with the symptoms. If you're exposed to the outside, it's not going to simply make you drop dead on the spot. Despite Eli's impressions, it would take hours without any water for it to actually get serious. However...the heat is not a blessing to improving anyone's mood." He finished his explanation, still seeming none too interested in anything going on. "...I guess you could join the extremist side. If they are going to take action, they are more likely to have a plan in gear. The loyalist side would probably get you closer to your target and more trusted too without needing to fight a few hundred pissed off knights and mages." Ash was clearly thinking about it. Eli gave something of a shrug as he tossed one of his pigtails. "Doesn't totally matter. We already got plenty of people out doing stuff." His eyes widened as he looked clearly proud. "So...it's like this. If all the serious generals and peoples knew they probably could have a real chance of killing off the dark lord they'd do it, right? So not like anyone should go blabbing about that....soo....I had Ash take the two most likely to do that and go do recon missions in the same place, heading to the same one. They don't know that. Buutt...one of my special helper spies does 'cause I told him and he told the bulk of their armies, cause now they think they are...remmie...ramant..." Eli paused to look at Ash. "Remnants." She corrected and Eli nodded. "Yeah. That. So they figure "Oh, we got these guys on the ropes! We'll just send our guys to finish it!"...and if those two general people end up living, they kill off the army before we actually attack so...cool. If not? They're distracted by the little pockets waaayy out there while you guys are right there and you can just take the girly girl before they can actually get all of their guys ready in time. Pluuss, now they think my special sneaky person is totally trustworthy for telling them about those armies. 'Xcept their not. But they don't know that. And they're even closer than ever to all the good things going on and probably could manage even if all of you end up dying." Eli fell backwards letting out a huge gasp of air. Several light blue orbs materialized behind him to keep him balanced as he gave something of a sigh. "All this thinking isn't good for my cute brain." Ash gives something of a glare at Eli looking ready to say something, but remains silent and stares at the rest of the group. "Anything else?"
Kraltha shakes her head but remains silent. All her questions were answered for the moment. She too is eying the kobold inquisitively and considering a closer acquaintance...
Shesten gives up trying to follow the babbling halfway through, and instead simply keeps watching Carmen's growing arousal while trying to keep an alert and dignified posture.
