how do you write a masturbation scene? I tried looking for stories with just a masturbation scene, but get a lot of stories with more than just that. For additional info; I am thinking of making the scene from a male POV, so it is voyeuristic.
Watch some female masturbation videos and write down what you see. Not just he physical movements or mechanics, but what the performer's expressions are, sounds they make maybe. I don't know if this will help, but may be worth a try. We can call it research.
If it's voyeuristic, concentrate on the face and body. Of course concentrate on the genitals. Size, device, stretching, rhythm, motivation. But aside from that work in a breast grab, a thigh or tummy rub. And most of all her face - her brow and eyes and moans and mouth - her whole body' shaking and shuddering, working to a climax that reveals so much more than her sweet twitching pussy. I would make a different suggestion than those made so far. For many women, sex is much more emotional and mental than physical. So, rather than describing the act of masturbation in detail, describe what’s going on in her head, and the fantasy she uses to excite herself. If the story is written from an observer’s point of view, you can still get some of that description by having her vocalize her thoughts.
While your suggestion can work well for female POV, it sounds pretty cheesy to me if the woman says what she thinks. Who would speak out their most intimate and dirtiest fantasies besides slipping in an exhaled "Yes, fuck me..."?
She might say a name, for instance... or anything else which she might say to a lover during sex, play-acting out her part with an imaginary partner. One can allow for a degree of artistic license, I think; it's kind of like how a TV character might talk on the phone with someone and repeat some of what they say in a way no one actually does, but since we only hear half the conversation it's necessary for the audience.
