Hello, I'm the author of SCP-3651, a freeuse universe I wrote for the SCP Foundation. If you're unfamiliar with the SCP Foundation, it revolves around a massive international organization that collects and contains anomalous entities, artifacts, and at times, locations. In this situation, SCP-3651 is a temple in Greece that leads into a freeuse universe. A VN would be neat. I can't really think of any serious free-use games right now. It could be a good open-world with minimal story.
I can only think of A Town Uncovered. It's pretty much a carbon copy of Summertime Saga, except the protagonist manages to get into a freeuse universe (with caveats, of course) and then back into "baseline reality". Honestly, I think I could do it, I graduated as a software engineer in college and I can write (although I may bring in volunteer writers to assist). The only major issue is finding an artist who isn't too expensive or cheap. A happy medium. I've actually got a synopsis drafted up: The player will start out at baseline reality, where he eventually gets assigned to 3651-A at Outpost 3-B in Denver, CO. It's run by a small, but competent staff who have embraced the 3651 lifestyle. They regularly visit a nearby facility of the alternate SCP Foundation to study anomalies. The main focus of the game will be in the SCP Site itself. However, you will be given the option to explore various parts of Denver, especially after the containment breach where you to have to ask around to gather clues. SCPs involved: - SCP-105 (major character) - SCP-343 (acts as a guide to the player, similar to Goddess Ilias; major character) - SCP-166 (sports a “Dandere” archetype; secondary character), - SCP-085 (no sex between protagonist; but is seen getting nailed by two dudes in an art piece; minor character) - SCP-999 (a lot less innocent; has a more slime-y appearance and can morph into a dude or chick; still has mentality of a dog; secondary character) - SCP-953 (manipulative and hostile; sex scene during containment breach and “rapes” protagonist; lives off semen instead of liver; secondary antagonist)
Hmm, this is more story than I expected, but I think I'm a bit extreme when it comes to that. Your synopsis seems cool so far. As far as artists, I personally posted on ULMF and other hentai sites (looking for artists) and just cold-emailed some people on Hentai-Foundry. I specifically looked for new artists, which typically charge less since they have less experience. That's how I found my current two artists and I've worked with them happily for over a year now.
