Hello everyone Since i thought for a while now doing a Star Wars RPG, I wanna hear Your opinions on it. Feel free to tell me here if You are Interested, Your Wishes/Expectations and What kind of Character You are interested in creating.
This does sound like fun, there’s definately a lot of options to choose from in the Old Republic era.
Glad You join in mindtheMILF Create a Character here with the following Information and perhaps a Picture. Make sure his Abilitys arent too Powerful since our Characters start at Level 1 and arent Battle hardened Veterans. Character cards. Name: Race: Class: Ability: (Create two.) Equipment: (clothes, weapon, money, tools, etc.) Backstory:
Name: Jacen Calrissian Race: Human (African-Derivation) Class: Scoundrel (Very Mild* Force-Sensitive) (???: not sure on the system) *[was tested by the Jedi as a young child and considered just barely too weak to be worth training, also already tainted by the dark side, there was much fear in him...] Abilities: Spider-Sense: Jacen has a kind of intuitive sense of when things are about to go south. It doesn't give him much warning and it's unreliable but it's saved his neck more times than he can count. Smooth Talker: Jacen is good at diplomacy and getting on people's good side, he speaks a dozen major galactic trade languages fluently, and is generally very charismatic. Equipment: Jacen's personal possessions include dozens of Ident cards from various worlds and sectors, all perfectly legitimate and showing his actual face and name, banking chits from several different institutions throughout the republic, (each with access to a thousand credits at need, except the one on Coruscant which has the remainder of his fortune, [value decided by the GM, as Is the number of backup accounts, ]) a backpack into which are stored three suits of clothes, all of the finest quality, though very sturdy, his data slate, (a top-of-the-line model from three years ago, with an eight-inch screen, a month of battery life under hard use, and waterproof to fifty fathoms: loaded with not only writing, translation, graphics design, accounting, presentation, engineering, technical, astrography, well known planet data, and all the other business and general use software you'd expect, but also some less expected things like a few older buy-and-own video games: and behind a live-retina-scanner security wall, hacking and decryption programs,) a two liter of "Replenish" brand human rehydrating solution, 10 days of Survival rations, and a personal grooming kit. His suits of clothing include socks, underwear, a button up shirt and slacks in bright colors, and a cloak with a detachable hood that includes a long lyripipe that can double as a scarf or be used to turn it into the galaxy's silliest hat. In addition to these, he has two pairs of boots that he switches out each day and two belts and baldrics which join at the right hip. Completing his attire is a T-6 Suganami Personal Defense Blaster with holster and several pouches in which he stores various useful tools, such as an automatic grappling hook and line, several small cans of capsicum spray, (or the equivalent for certain very divergent races,) spare fuel cells for the blaster, a water filtration breather for if he has to go for a long swim, several assorted multi-tools, and of course, his keys. [Legality of these items up to the GM, and they probably vary from planet to planet.] Backstory: Jacen Calrissian was born on Coruscant to Sanda and Wanaku Calrissian. He was part of a boisterous and large family growing up with a total of seven brothers and sisters, mostly sisters, only two of his father's eight children being boys. Jacen's father Sanda was a construction inspector and worked long hours to support his family. Sanda was also a very angry man with a lot of suppressed rage from the abuse he suffered as a child and this expressed itself in being a distant and disciplinarian father figure who was strict and aggressive with his children, even to the point of using "physical discipline". At the age of four Jacen was screened by the Jedi to see if he had force talent. It turned out he did, but it was very weak, barely enough to be worth considering for training, and an edge case at that. What decided them was that Jacen was easily frightened and angered, making expending the effort and resources to train him as a Jedi not worth it. In the clone wars era when the Jedi were more desperate for padawan he probably would have been recruited. Jacen grew up largely having forgotten the one day that the Jedi came to his pre-school. As he reached his teen years he got interested in swoop-bike racing and fell in with various unsavory elements. He never joined a gang but he 'knew people' and was friends with those that had. One day he was visiting a used droid dealer with a friend of his that was part of "The Park 55 Crew" and got swept up in a bust by the Jedi. He was exonerated of being involved in the Droid-knapping ring, but to put him back on the straight-and-narrow the judge sentenced him to 50 hours community service in the lost items desk at the local secondary space-port. It was here that Jacen's life would change forever. Jacen was assigned to records analysis, trying to match flight records with the Ident info imprinted on items, and did a good job, finally earning a jaunt out to deliver a matched item to the owner. That man was Moris Mavis, the captain of a tramp freighter called the Star Of Chalion. He was very happy to get his old pict recorder back and invited Jacen out for dinner, they fell to talking, became friends quickly, and arranged to meet every day for the rest of the week. When that week was over, Jacen was done with his 50 hours of community service, had been thrown out of his parent's condo for dropping out of school, and had a legally binding apprenticeship to Captain Moris Mavis as a member of The Free Traders Coalition. (A small guild of independent freighter owner/operators who worked in light independent shipping in the Old Republic and never did anything really historically noteworthy for the 500 years it existed.) At the time he was just shy of his 19th birthday. For the next five-and-a-half years Jacen worked for Captain Moris Mavis as his apprentice, taking on all manner of cargoes and passengers. Then the captain died in his sleep, and in a surprise move, left his ship and everything else he owned to Jacen. It seemed Jacen was like the son he'd never had, and he wanted him to follow in his footsteps. But Jacen was an apprentice, and under guild law, an apprentice may not be a Captain... The Free Traders Coalition tried to send a new Master Trader to run the ship, but the crew held a rump session right there on the dock of station A-113 and acclaimed Journeyman Mayhew Weatherman ready to become a Master, on condition that he immediately take Jacen as his apprentice. Jacen finished out his seven years of apprenticeship under Mayhew Weatherman and left the Star Of Chalion to serve as a Journeyman. During this time he again fell in with the wrong sort, the jobs got shadier, he was even asked to call on his old contacts, but his native luck and being quick with a blaster kept him alive, even if he did make enemies with a few underworld figures. At the age of 35, he was awarded the rank of Master Trader and took over the Star Of Chalion again. From then to now, through good times and bad, he has built it into a mercantile empire. Now in his late 70s, he is more fit than most men a third his age and is very popular with the ladies. Speaking of the ladies, we should now mention Jacen's wife Hasura. Jacen married his longtime sweetheart from the Star of Chalion's crew when he returned at 35. She was a little younger, 32, and they'd been in love since they were 19 and 16 they'd never had sex though, and Hasura was still a virgin. They got the best fertility treatments and had 12 kids, 4 sons, and 8 daughters, before Hasura died of a case of Glovok Fever at the age of 52. Around the time he turned 67 Jacen stopped mourning Hasura and started dating again. He's had one night stands, flings that lasted a few weeks, even affairs of up to three years or so, but he's never going to re-marry.
