Occasionally, authors empty their chapters and create gaps in the storyline towards the chapters of other contributors. What do you think are the reasons they do that?
I would assume they are unhappy with the quality of their post but don't want to mess with other contributors by drastically editing or deleting it. Leaving an empty chapter isn't ideal but it least links and following chapters remain intact.
Personally, I could imagine doing that to avoid that some persons from RL (employer, workmates, wife, and so on) can read it or to avoid legal problems.
