It All starts in a tavern Feedback/OOC

While looking through the file where the game system is explained I noticed something that seems wrong:

Both outcomes say "on a fail". I assume the first one is supposed to be "on a success", correct?

 

This would be the clincher for me. I go out of my way to make sure that I do not metagame. So...

Just go upstairs, protect the dragon, bang the dragon to show her whose boss, make her have your kids, get married, buy a farm... what were we talking about again? Oh right, what to do.

On one hand, you want to protect your teammate who just went to sleep upstairs. On the other, you could note that the NPCs seem downright terrified of said dragon, and it seems very unlikely any of them want anything to do with the dragon for fear of dragon death. I'd say you're more likely to get the sex scene from the dragon then the merchants, unless you roll well on seduction to use your body for a price seduction.

So really, your call here. If you're worried about a long quest missed, don't. Side quests available are currently maybe 2 skill checks, or potentially a fight (that you'd probably be able to hear from inside and can join in). As for sex, see seduction above.

Right, all I need now is assurances that the Banded Gecko does not contain any actual (fuckable) banded geckos, and I will be fine to sit around with the dragon.

 

Alright, I've narrowed it down to two images to depict Sierra, but I'm having trouble deciding which one I'll be using. So I'd like your guys input.



Now neither image is perfect (Sierra does have a shield and she's currently wearing robes not armor) but they give you a general idea of what I'm picturing.

 

So hard access angel vs easy access angel.... hmmm.... or is this sort of a before sex, after sex thing?

As for the banded gecko, hadn't really planned on it. Was going with a little, awakened gecko. With a top hat. Because all things are better with a top hat.

So far I've had no luck finding a picture I like, so here's a text description for Valerie, I will also add it to her character sheet.


Current description:
Straight black hair, reaches a little below her shoulders. Blue eyes, D-cup breasts, average height.
Currently wearing: Dark blue cloth dress and simple shoes. Under the dress she's wearing black stockings, black bra and black panties

Second dress: Dark green cloth dress. Also comes with simple shoes, black stockings, bra and panties.

Third dress: Dark red cloth dress. Also comes with simple shoes, dark red stockings, bra and panties.


For simplicity the shoes, stockings, bra and panties are considered part of the outfit and so do not provide any bonuses. But she can replace them with better ones that do (for example, if she decides to buy and wear the Boots if Insight).

So, which vendor you gonna head to first?

 

I would think the Hammer and Iron Blacksmithing would be a good place to start. But perhaps you may just wish to roll some dice on it? I don't think Sierra is paying any particular thought as to her direction.

 

I have a few quick questions:
1) Are the guy's items already identified? Based on the names they seem to be, but I want to make sure
2) In order to appraise the items, would Valerie need to pay 1 Stamina per item, or will 1 Stamina for all items do?


And a question unrelated to the current game: IF I decide to run my own forum game, would you mind if I use your system for it? Currently I'm just considering the possibility, and if I do it will be weeks from now, but I wanted to ask anyway.

 

1. They are not currently identified, just named by him (although they're pretty true to what they do)
2. Yep, gotta use up that stamina per item. (Although they are pretty true to description)

Knock yourself out, feel free to spread it around. Found the system is fairly useful for Forum games (although it can get to be a cluster truck doing it for live games)
