Question about tags.

Is there any difference and/or advance to placing a tag in a particular chapter as oppose to placing all the story's tags in the first chapter?

No, not really. I have noticed that it tends to group ones that are the same chapter; but wherein the list is pretty random-seeming.

The only thing I can think of is if say you have a threesome tag, and delete the chapter with the stated theme in it; if it is in the chapter, I would be deleted with it; keeping the tags accurate.

 

If you search for tags and filter by chapters it will make a difference

So it is better to tag individual chapters.

But should I tag more then one chapter with the same tag?

For example, if I have two different spanking scenes, should each chapter receive a "spanking" tag?

You just should make sure that you always use the same tag notation to avoid cluttering the story with differently written tags.

I may have to add that you first have to "search" for the tag by using a tag link and then choose the filter.
(You could also choose any tag, filter by chapters and then change the tag in the link.)

Can you "unpublish" a story and revert it back to a "draft" even if you accidentally hit "published"?

No, you can't "unpublish" it but if you delete and restore it, it will be back in draft mode.
After deleting the story/chapter, you can find it on your Recently Deleted list.
(The list will every single chapter of a deleted story. You have to restore the story first which also restores all chapters of that story.)

Though it would be better to make a new thread as it might be easier to find for other users who have the same question.

 

OK, I've gone back and fixed all the tags in my story.

 

Porneia you surprise me. For someone who's level of like addiction outdoes even my own I'm amazed you'd even consider not tagging a chapter! Ye Gods, what's come over you! LOL

I'd bless each chapter with holy water and sacrifice a goat if I thought it would help.
