Is there any stories or books that have the vampire becoming a submissive to the human? If there isn't any, how would the whole submission scene go? The only way I could think of is magical rune/marking that would bind (or whatever the term is. Google is unhelpful) the vampire to the human. Also, wasn't sure if this goes in this section or Author's Help, since I am looking for stories/books or help getting a tough part of my story out of the way.
Very intresting idea, I think the Runes or silver collar could be solution. Could you tell what gender will be vampire. And do you talking about Modern world where vampires are hidding betheen people or about fantasy settings, where vampire sleeping in tombs and old temple?
Vampire is female, due to the lack of male humans/female vampires. I try to keep my stories set in the year I start them (like this one would be in the start of 2020, with special chapters for 'holidays', such as Valentine's and Halloween) Did you mean hiding beneath people? As in the human population does not know about them? If so, then very few people know they exist (more people who have entered relationships with the vampires, than hunters hunting them for, reasons?).
Okey, here is my suggestion how you can do it. Our female vampire was recognise by male vampire hunter and they get fighting in abonded factory. She will think that she run after him, but he will lead her in trap. I don't know what ability and skills will have your vampire, except drinking blood, but combant should be long and hard for both sides, like witcher vs monster. In the fight female vampire will fall in hunter trap, she will think the chains of machines will be of steel, but hunter change them on silver.
My suggestion for a story would be for a vampire on the upper echelons of the vampiric community in a city, to be trying to manipulate mortal politics to overthrow the current leader of the vampires in the city. To do this, she tries to get her claws into a powerful and influential mortal, like she has to so many others, and make him her slave Unbeknownst to her, he's well aware of the existence of vampires, and is prepared. She tries to entrance him, but it doesn't work. He tells her that he'll support her bid for power, but she'll need to do something for him in return. Over time, the vampiress becomes more and more dependent on the human, and becomes subservient to him.
