Hello, I'm sort of new around here. My friend, AnneOnymous, and I have been working on a story together here for about a month and we decided that we had enough paths and endings going that it was time to share. The story of it is that two best friends are transformed into women by a Trickster. They're told that if they can make it through an entire day without being transformed again that they'll return to normal. It's meant to be a transformation focused story with lots of bad endings, and hopefully is fun to read too. A transformation story with lots of sexy twists and turns written by two women? Heck, you had me at hello ^^
I love the metafictional aspects of it and the emphasis on humor. There is definitely great build up as well. I prefer more detail in sex scenes, but that isn't a total deal breaker. The pov can be difficult to follow but it adds a voyeuristic appeal. My biggest quibble is place holder choices. Chyoa allows you to add the choices and save the progress without publishing them. I never mind waiting to see new choices added when I know they will be full chapters. Still, I will be following this story with interest.
First of all, thank you for the compliments. So far we've been focusing on the lewd things happening only as endings as the bad endings were meant to be the draw of the story. However, we did recently talk about how initially more people are enjoying the whole of the story more than individual chapters and have talked about working some sexy encounters elsewhere as well. I'm not promising a ton of detail in the sex scenes, as I like to leave some things up to audience imagination, but there should be some more in regards to sex happening outside of the endings soon. The placeholders are a result of publishing the story after we'd written about 20 something chapters. We didn't realize EVERYTHING would be published all at once. Those were mainly meant for us to know what we wanted to do but once the story was published, every chapter was as well. We really didn't intend for those to go public with the rest of the story. This is our first time using the site.
Ah this makes sense. Sorry to point out the quibble then as I do find the story to be fresh, innovative and exciting.
Added in some current tallies for how things are going since I've seen some other threads do the same. I think 4 new chapters have been added since I made the initial post. Update for the week: 9 new chapters, 3 new endings, of course this opened up more branches, so yay on not closing open threads like I planned! I think the goal for this week will be to clear out the few remaining blank chapters we have. Currently very close to finishing the "Just in me" path. If you were interested in Kacie and the Kaabal that will open up more soon. Have three paths planned for "Home sweet home" I should really get back to working on "Fertile Fields" as I've let Anne push that so far. Should also set up the expansion of the together path more. Weekly update here. This was a slow week for us. The Just in Me chapter was posted shortly after the last update. It opened things with the Kaabal quite a bit. I also finished the first planned path of Home Sweet Home with Kacie's father walking in on her getting dressed. I'm told that it's pretty arousing.
