@Tjf @moonblack @unisol_gr44 The trio made their way to the temple without any problems. The place looks quite peaceful - the building is not too big, but not small as well. It's surrounded by gardens and trees. The main room with the altar, wall paintings and statues is open. There are but few villagers and few priestesses walking around or standing near the altar, praying, performing services or offering sacrifices.
As the little goblin looked around, he realised quickly that there was only one entrance to the alley - and it was blocked by the pair. He could, of course, wait for them to finish or try sneaking behind them - he was sure that there were other things on their minds at the moment.
Having woken up, Catherine was eager to head out and just run off to get everything done...but, being hasty in preparation would get her killed. Not by Annette, but if there was some kind of complication with things, it would be better to stay prepared. Rising off the bed, she had something closer to a plan. The easiest way to keep track of pursuers who would do her niece harm was to stay close to the group. Following that, she told the dark elf that she's looking to group up to tackle that one. They'd be inclined to accept a partnership to handle it, and Catherine neglected to mention this was so she could keep tabs on the hunting party. But after getting the assistant to take a note, Catherine was back looking at the rest of the board. There were two that stood out. Not because of the reward money, while sizable. Because they represented people who could bring her closer to higher goals. The one who stole the magical artifact might be a good start...but the witch seemed more intriguing. Likely the person who could at least start pointing her in the right direction for the quest for eternal youth. "This forest witch...what do I need to know if I chose to pursue her?"
“Nice place.” Celine commented as she examined the temple. Looking around the main room she did not see the High Priestess Carina anywhere, and they did not know what priestess Juanita looked like. After looking around some more she chose a lone priestess who seemed to not be doing anything at the moment, possibly taking a break, and approached her. “Excuse me,” the elf began “I'm sorry to bother you, but do you know where we can find priestess Juanita?” She asked politely, smiling at the young woman.
"Bah!" Gih groaned again, as there was no way out. He decides to just sneak out, he was small enough he could probably go unnoticed. But before he leaves, he'll try to see if the man had a pouch he could steal before leaving.
"Well, saggy tits, the witch is quite popular ho! Just a day ago a group of two lessies and limp dick went after the poor thing. I'm sure that she will be having a time of her month ridding the green pole... or not, not so sure about limp dick's prowess... They will probably go after the priestess as well. So if you want to go after the forest bumpkin, you better hurry up." The woman said cheerfully.
"Yes?" Celine turned at the sound of the voice. "You seek me?" the proud-looking woman asked curiously.
"I hold up rather well, thank you." Catherine knew that it was more intentional than the dark elf let on, and comments about her age was one of the few things that could ever truly get under her skin. But she still nodded politely. "I see. But her bounty is up...which means either they couldn't get close enough or she killed the..what? Green...goblins? Orcs?...not the type to use complex tactics. Just running at the problem, won't help..." Catherine deliberated on coming up with a plan. "I'll stop at the alchemy guild, if you can give my directions. I think she just needs someone to discuss the finer subjects with to open up and a little housewarming gift might accomplish that." Catherine didn't really care if she'd get paid for this. That was only the pretense to get to the witch for entirely different reasons and it would be much easier to do since the witch at least lived in an established location, unlike the artifact thief who could take who knows how long to track down. After getting the directions, Catherine heads off to the place for alchemists to gather, having a suspicion that the witch would be willing to talk to someone who could gift her something nice or useful.
Gih slowly and sneakily approaches the unsuspecting couple doing... coupling. He froze when both of them cried out, reaching their orgasms respectively. They breathed heavily, slowly recovering.
“You are priestess Juanita?” Celine asked as she examined the woman. “We would like to ask you a few questions. Can we go speak somewhere in private? We're not sure how long it will take, and we don't want to trouble the other people here.” She told the woman.
Alyndra followed Celine's lead. She looked a bit surprised at the priestesses skimpy outfit, but didn't comment on it and let Celine do the talking.
"They were quite... varied group. They might actually work... who knows, they might actually be able to help you!" The dark elf cocked her head. "The alchemist? Sure!" Few moments later, Catherine stood in front of a shop, that had various herbs put on display.
@Tjf - @moonblack - @unisol_gr44 The blond woman narrowed her eyes, then nodded sharply. "Please follow me, weary travellers." She said loudly. She lead the group through the corridors until they were in small chamber with few beds. "This are our guest quarters, you can stay here for one night." She closed the door. "Now, what you wanted to talk about?"
Catherine heard the suggestion and couldn't help but frown at the thought. True, more people might make things easier...but she doubted the kind of tactics used by those...types...was something she wanted to be a part of. Ignoring that, she did have an idea of what she wanted to do. She knew how to keep her eye out for quality ingredients and which ones were better than others. In her mind, a potion would be a bad move. If she took it as a sign of a drug or paralytic there was no telling how she'd react or who'd she use it on. But something that would draw attention and impress. Catherine had it in mind. A crystalline rose, blood red, constantly shimmering. Beautiful, and it would be proof of Catherine's skill that she knew what she was talking about when addressing the witch. She kept an eye out for the materials she'd need to craft a truly elegant one and get started on the process as soon as possible.
“Thank you for your generosity,” Celine said politely as she quickly examined the small room “we're sorry to bother you, but... we would like to ask you a few questions. First, about High Priestess Carina. What can you tell us about her?” The elf asked in a rather quiet voice – in the small room there was no need for anything louder.
As the two reached their orgasms, Gih began to rush out of the alley way. While grabbing whatever he thought was valuable from the man.
As Catherine entered the shop, the alchemist greeted her with a nod. "How can I help you, mrs?" As she looked around the shelves, she noticed that some of the ingredients she wanted, were present.
@Tjf - @moonblack - @unisol_gr44 "Oh?" The woman smirked, visibly relaxing. "Could it be that you are here in relation to certain bounty?" The woman asked.
Rogriss smiles. "I wasn't aware that you priestesses were so perceptive. We may be here for a bounty, yes, though our target isn't here. We just seek information. Are you aware of a certain witch in the forests near the town?"
"I'm looking for materials to make a gift for someone. I'll take.." She began to list of the materials to gather them, half explaining the situation of what she wanted to do, but leaving out the who or why while she talked with the other alchemist.
