Hey everyone, Because I'm concentrating on just one story at this time, I have some ideas which may never come to fruition, and I thought I'd share them in case someone else wants to take them on. All of these could be written from a male or female point of view. Woo-hoo, Spring Break! In this story, you're a college student who's come into some money just in time to plan for an awesome Spring Break trip. You'll be staying in a luxury suite at a resort with a private (clothing-optional) beach; you can stay there and enjoy the amenities, or go out on the town, or go party with all the other Spring Breakers. Hook up with people you just met, or from your own school, or hire an escort or two if that floats your boat. It's a week of partying and hedonism, so enjoy it while you're young! Space Alien Abduction You were just driving home late at night on a deserted road when it happened - a sudden burst of light in the sky, your car stopped dead, and then you were being pulled upward into the gaping maw of a bona-fide flying saucer! Who are these strange creatures from another world, and what do they want with you? Perhaps they want to add you to their collection of creatures from many different worlds, where you may be compelled to breed with other Earthlings they've captured. Maybe they're curious about human sexuality, and they want you to help them understand it through direct experience. Or, they might have just picked you up by accident, and since it's too much trouble to bring you back they drop you off on a planet at the crossroads of hyperspace lanes, where who knows what adventures you may have? Maybe you'll make it back home eventually... or maybe you won't even want to! Agent XXX It's 1968, the height of the Cold War. You are an operative with GISA, the Global Intervention and Security Agency - an intelligence and espionage organization of NATO member countries formed to handle special operations which even the CIA and similar agencies are unable to deal with. You've just been promoted to the highest tier of field agent and have been ordered to report for your latest assignment. (For this story, think of James Bond kicked up a notch. You get all the nifty gadgets, experience the jetsetting high-thrills lifestyle of a spy, and of course have lots of sex. The first choice could determine what kind of mission it is: infiltration under deep cover, escorting a defector from the other side, unmasking a double agent, assassination, etc.)
I'm actually working on a spy story right now but I'd live to read another, especially since it sounds like you have such an interesting setting in mind. That's the one I'd want to pick up! Alien abduction could also be cool, I'm always worried it's gonna get too weird for me, though!
As a fan of espionage and especially cold war espionage I could definitely see myself writing something along these lines and I have a few ideas percolating already.
