Conflicts of Divine Interest (interest/sign-up/ooc)

The IC thread is made. I can squeeze in another couple of characters if anybody else wants to join I still within the next couple of days, since it will take a bit for the engine to start rolling

 

Are they all grouped up from the start or just heading to the same destination? Changes things a bit from how I mentally had mapped some stuff out, but not really an issue either.

 

They haven’t all grouped up together yet. Depending on what y’all do from here can determine if there is a large group or if people go their own separate ways

Background: A war goddess from a pantheon deemed evil, she was sometimes regarded as the strongest among the war deities. Though that was only because of her active manipulation of lesser beings. Aryn held great delight in blessing and guiding one race to wage war against everything, then immediately blessing another to oppose them. Easily creating a great conflict, which ended thousands, if not millions of lives. And just as a clear victor was at hand, she would withhold her blessing to the winning race. Strengthening the losing side instead, to prolong the war even more.

Of course, the other gods and goddesses didn't allow her to do as she pleased for long. It took all of them to seal her, and her powers. But the damage she caused still remained in the hearts, and minds of those lesser beings.

A few centuries later, just as the divine lottery blessed all the gods of war, lust, conquest, sexuality, and fertility. Aryn was able to muster enough of her divine power to coerce a cult to hold a grand ritual, that would break her seal. Sadly, her machinations were quickly discovered by the other gods/goddesses. But, instead of stopping her awakening. They instead decided to grant the weakened goddess their gifts (curse,) which was apparent with the mark on her abdomen.

Aryn thought nothing of it, thinking that as long as she was free. She would be able to regain her sealed powers, and take revenge. Yet, the moment she awoken she felt her body had changed. Her chest had grown a few sizes, along with her hips, and ass. Along with an unknown heat that radiated from the mark on her abdomen. Her usual heavy armor was reduced to a few scraps of cloth. While her body began to feel, and crave things she had no interest in.

It was then Aryn realized the predicament she's in, which forced her to try and regain her powers. Without actually using them! Otherwise, the heat that radiated from her abdomen threatened to take her reason away.

Personality: Cold, and evil. Aryn has no problem in destroying everything, and everyone on the path to her goal. Which is to once again plunge the world into eternal conflict. But, with her powers still sealed, and her current powers causing unwanted lust. She is forced to use her physical abilities, which could still easily rank as the strongest among the mortals... for a short amount of time at least. As prolonged combat also caused her curse to activate, forcing her body into a highly aroused state that clouded her judgement.

(How's this for a character? Anything I need to change?)

 

Overall it looks good. Chances are she is probably a goddess that is from a dead pantheon or is from a pagan human pantheon before the Theocracy took over and just barely survived via some strangling believers or an alter made to house her that got discovered.

There is even a measure to weaken her so she doesn't come out OP in the beginning and it’s a thing that could lead to interesting scenarios. Plus, being a war goddess she could be interested non the Steppes as it is a place of constant struggle and conflict. So that’s neat!
