“Hmm... seems like waiting it out is the best option. The other two seem... like they are best left for emergencies.” Ophelia commented as she listened to the inquisitor's explanation. “Well, I was already considering staying here for a few more days, both to let the aphrodisiac wear off and to learn some new spells in order to be better prepared for the next time we encounter the black knights. Because I feel certain this is not over, and next time we might not be inside a castle when we get attacked.” She made a brief pause. “If I may ask, how many of you are left and what can each of you do? Also, do you have any supplies left after the attack on your forces?”
Allune wasn't sure how she should react in the face of such a creature. Fear, and lust mixing within her as she felt the titanic creature stare at her. She couldn't scream in fear, nor moan in arousal. As she felt that odd sensation that she should embrace this monster. But, before she could make up her mind, the beast dropped her. Casting her down into the void, where Allune felt like she was falling for eons. Leaving her to contemplate what just happened. Causing her mind to be split, with one side wanting to resist, while the other wanted to accept the creature. With those thoughts in mind, Allune suddenly awoke. Greeted by the morning light, the busty blond sat up. Breathing deeply from her nightmarish wet dream, Allune quickly got up, hoping there was something to clean herself with.
As he finishes with his armour, Mszczuj sees Eva's eyes open, as she looks at him. "Morning." She stretches her arms out and yawns.
"It's certainly not over. On that, we can agree." Marguerite gives a nod. "Including Angelo and I, there are only six of us left, of the forty that left from Italy. In terms of supplies, we have some weapons, and food and water. Our black powder is all gone, but we have a few hand cannons."
Allune finds a small towel on a dresser above the fireplace, warm from the previous night's fire, that she can use to clean the copious amounts of her own juices staining her smallclothes.
"Good morning sleeping beaty. Did you sleep well?" He grins and walk to kiss her. "I have to wake up rest of party to prepares everything for travel. Take your time." He said and leave to get report form watchers in the night.
Ophelia nodded at Marguerite's words. “Well, we are not in a hurry, so take your time and get rest – and possibly look for some extra supplies if you need them.” Then a thought occurred to her. “By the way, what spells can you and the rest of your group use? I assume you have at least a couple of healers. Anything else?”
She grins kisses back. "Fine." Outside, he finds Andrzej, who informs him that no one else was seen during the night.
Mszczuj thanks Andrzej for information and go to wake up rest of his. They have long road today and he want reach attacked castle as soon as possible.
"Mainly offensive spells. Personally, I can conjure fire, some others can, too. Angelo is a healer, and one of our surviving priestesses are too. I've sent a message to the Vatican, asking for reinforcements and resupply, but it will take a while, assuming the cardinals see fit to assign them to us."
Spotting the towel, Allune quickly grabs it, and strips off her gambeson, and breeches. Wiping herself dry, hoping she doesn't smell too "funny." After that, she quickly puts on her combat gear, wearing the brigandine as she barely resisted the urge to put on the black armor. With her bow, quivers, and knife ready. Allune looks for something to store the black armor in.
The men are assembled outside, horses saddled, and weapons made ready. As Allune finds a sack to put the armour in, there's a knock on her door, one of the men informing her that the group is heading out soon.
Mszczuj look at his men and get on the horse. "Every one is ready? Make sure take everything with you." He said petting Śmiałek mane. "Where are Allune with her companions?"
“Good, we seem to have offense and healing more or less covered. I was already thinking of trying to learn some protective spells, this just confirms it's the right course of action.” Ophelia nodded to herself. “I should probably send a letter home, to let father know what has happened so far. I doubt we will get any reinforcements or supplies, and even if we do it will be weeks before they arrive, but it's still a good idea.” Ophelia made a mental note to write the letter and send it as soon as possible. “Anyway, once we are ready to go we will be heading towards Wilno – that was our original destination before we stopped here. Does either of you know anything about it?”
@unisol_gr44 “Seems that way...” Ophelia tried to think of anything else she needed to ask the pair, but nothing came to mind. “Thank you for answering my questions. If there's anything you want to know, don't hesitate to ask me.” She looked at the pair, waiting.
Only naughty things came to Angelo's mind, he gathered his nerves to not blurt them out, 'No, nothing of great importance. Maybe we should get to know each other better before we make the journey to Wilno? At dinner perhaps? If your brother is not... occupied with his ailment, he'd be welcome to join, of course.'
"Yes, I'll be right down!" Allune said as she made sure she didn't forget anything. Once that was down, she rushes downstairs. "Sorry I'm late." She said, as she hurriedly stores the black armor on their cart, before mounting her steed.
