Hello... I used to be a fairly frequent contributor over at http://www.chyoo.com/, but I left because I kind of ran out of steam and because the site admins didn't seem to exist - or at least, they never responded to any sort of message or forum post. So I'm wondering, how does CHYOA compare to CHYOO?
Lower number of more active contributors: admin that actually give a damn. I have been on here less than 6 months and just let me give you a TASTE of the body of work I have submitted and had approved: including two that were published within the past 24 hours. Not only that but some time next month a new and improved site is going to go live, with all kinds of shiny new bells and whistles, so if you are not convinced yet check back then and see if you like the place a little batter...
As summary: - Chyoo is the old site, where no programming is possible anymore and the functions are limited or can only accessed by workarounds (probably because the serversoftware versions changed some years ago) - Chyoa is the new site, including all stories since the relocation. It is stable and working. Admins are active. New functionalities are in developement.
Well, that sounds great! I will begin making some contributions, then, and I'll probably bring over some stories from the old site (which I wrote under another name, "gystex", but the Email address associated with that account is long dead so I had to name-change).
