"It's exciting. Although I wish for the Emperor to be blessed with a long life by the kami, it's still my selfish hope to see the celebrations more than once during my life." Feeling slightly ashamed as she spoke to the beautiful woman near her, but couldn't keep the happy bubbling in her core fully contained. She cast a few glances toward the gate the armor-clad samurai expected Lord Yakuboo to come through, shifting the weight on her feet.
Being lead back into the couryard, Kyouka sighed. "Well, that was one way to kill the mood." She grumbled, "Looks like we'll have to wait til we're on the ship." She grins.
"Father, Senzan's daughter, Chitsukiko, has expressed her desire to go with you to the capital and serve Clan Yokuboo. The decision is yours, but she is a skilled archer, and an honourable member of our clan. I'd recommend it. A bastard of Shintaro's arrived today, as well, a young warrior from the Eternal Empire. He seems respectable, and strong, more so than his father. I'd recommend that he come as well."
Inazuma bow her head to her Lord and get up, turning back to Kyouka who already leave. @asddas193 "Wait! Our Lord gives you special task." She stoped samurai. "You have to go to dungeon and take care of shogun's mother. We have to know for what she want spend money from rich lord, her plans in capital and location of shinobi on her service. You can use anything what do you wish to break her, but you can't kill her or cutting her limbs. " Inazuma said in voice of comand.
Koyumi had to quirk an eyebrow. She hadn’t met the girl properly yet, though she seemed like the cheerful type and..it made her sick to her stomach. Young people always wanting to ruin her cynicism party. She wondered if just years of seeing nothing change, made her jaded or she was always like this even when she was this girl’s age. Even she couldn’t remember all details of things that transpired in her long lived life, and her reaction was just to kind of look with disdain. “That’s so cute. It’s like they sheltered you from any part of the real world and it’s just a wonderland for you.”
@Tjf "What?" Kyouka raised an eyebrow after hearing what the kunoichi had to say. "As much as I'd like to. I'm also part of the Kushan. So I don't think I have enough time to do it." She said, looking at Shintaro to back her up.
@Regin34 Shintaro nods. "Yes, she's right. The Emperor's will supercedes the orders of a lord." He thinks for a moment. "We could perhaps have the woman brought to the ship, and secrete her in the hold. Then, one or both of you could do the job during the trip."
@Regin34 "Well, that's that. I'm sure Lord Yokuboo would rather you do it. And I don't really want to join in on any secrecy he is having. I'm a rather talkative drunk after all." Kyouka replied with a shrug, passing off the interrogation duties to Inazuma.
@asddas193 Inazuma don't like idea getting shogun's mother out castle dungeon, to take her on travel to capital where her supported could try to relase her. But it look like they have no other choise. " Very well, I will do that. But you two keept that information to yourself and be carefull on the ship. Many accidents happens on the sea after all." She said and head back to dungeon. Inazuma call her two sisters and comand them to dress like servants and bring big jar for rice. Inside that jar, they will smuggle shogun's mother on the ship, with many others wares.
Taken aback by the woman's stinging rebuke. Her harsh gaze sent an involuntary shiver down Chitsukiko's spine. "Apologies for disturbing you." Offering them sincerely, but equally needing to defend her honor. "My life has been dedicated to the well-being of the clan, taken lives to protect it and the people we shelter in our realm. Even so, I have much to learn before finding my assigned place in the world, but I do not consider myself sheltered from all its harshness." Unable to guess where the hostility came from, it was best to brush it aside.
“Oh, I should be apologizing to you. I meant it as a compliment, truly. It’s almost impressive. You can look at travelling for miles in the wild as a fun little adventure and all I think is “bugs.” The smile on her face and tone didn’t really change, the fox somewhat oblivious to her natural inclination to sound like she was talking down to people. “I just meant, with all the rush they were in to get us here, they certainly have no desire to hurry at all themselves.”
@Tjf "Yeah, yeah. I didn't see anything." Kyouka waved her hands as the kunoichi left. She then looks at Shintaro, "So, where were we?" She asked with a teasing grin. While also wondering her her older brothers were, due to the information she received from Sarutobi about them "pledging" loyalty to Yokuboo.
The continuing challenge to her, calling her naive, disturbed the samurai who rarely asked those questions about herself."I'll treasure that sense of wonderment then. And I suppose Lord Yakuboo and the Shogun are running late while expecting us to wait..." Stopping herself from saying there must be a good reason for it, feeling the words would be lost on the woman. Possibly even right to be so, irking Chitsukiko more.

Jurobei looked at her not saying anything. Was she perhaps planting her agents in his retinue and planning his murder? Slowly a smile crept on his face - that would already put her above the rest of his failure children. "Very well, I shall allow it." He paused. "You will, of course, come along with us." He said not allowing any protest.
“I look forward to it.” Midori smiled at the samurai. “Indeed she is,” she added as she looked at the shogun. The two chatted a bit longer, before the samurai left Midori alone. Midori spent the next few hours waiting, occasionally taking to people but mostly just watching quietly. I wonder how much longer it will be before we are ready to go... She thought when she heard that the ship had arrived. I hope everyone is already here and no one is late...
@Mazoku “Perhaps this could be seen as a test of sorts..though, I doubt it.” While she made the speculation in her head, she took notice of another person, that she did recognize, giving a smile to invite her to the conversation. “Ah, Midori, was it? Interesting, they’d scoop up a poor little village girl into this. Tagging along too? Your mother must be so proud.” It was hard to pin down Koyumi’s attitude. The words came off as sarcastic, but her tone sounded so sincere that it also came off like she really meant it.
“Ah, Koyumi-san, hello. Yes, I was quite surprised to learn that I had been selected for the Kushan. Still have trouble believing it, in fact.” Midori greeted the woman, then looked at the other person. “Hello. I don't believe we have met. My name is Midori.” She politely bowed to the woman. @Mazoku (I really need to come up with a family name...)
"I am pleased to hear one of our villagers have been honored by being selected for the Kushan. My name is Chitsukiko Yakuboo." Introducing herself as one of the ruling lord's family as she returned the gesture with grace despite being clad armor - telling of how comfortable she was wearing it. "You two know each other?" Directing the question toward the younger woman, Midori, but leaving it open for Koyumi to answer it. "Discussing things with friends, or making new ones, should certainly be better than passing the time worrying about bugs. And, I'd certainly like to hear of your audience with the Emperor on the way back, miss Midori." The shift in her tone, thrumming with reverence, hinted the last bordered on being a command rather than a request. (100 Common Japanese Family Surnames)
"Not entirely. I just remember her buying some plates from my shop, not too long ago." Adding into the conversation, Midori already knew her so she looked at Chitsukiko. "I'm Koyumi...I don't have a last thing." It was partially rare, but not impossible. Orphans existed and they wouldn't have family names. That would be what most people guess, since the other conclusion was hundred year old fox spirit who naturally wouldn't have one. Koyumi didn't add anything to explain it, only briefly imitating a face that was close to looking sad as if there was a complicated story there that she didn't want to talk about. Although she looked at the girl with renewed interest with the girl after hearing her family connection. That meant she'd probably have to get close to this one. "And you..." Without warning, a finger went to the girl's nose, the fox looking practically thrilled. "Aren't you special? We're going to have a very unique relationship."
