Kiyoda is silent for a moment. "It's a matter of choice. A spider does what's in its nature. The joro-gumo, even if they can think and talk, can't choose not to eat humans, that's just how the kami have made it, how it survives. You and I, on the other hand, have that choice, and so we would be evil for doing such a thing, when a joro-gumo would not." He pauses, as they walk up together into the brisk morning air, the coastline a mere shadow on the horizon. "As for whether a spider must cater to man, I suppose it doesn't need to, but we samurai can't let them do as they please, either." He thinks over his words for a moment. "To be samurai, means that the peasants give us rice, pay us taxes, serve in our armies. If we let them be attacked by monsters with no response, then how are we different from bandits, taking and giving nothing in return? Regardless of who has the right to live, exist and eat, I and my brothers have a duty to protect the people." He looks away shyly, realising that he got a little too animated while giving his speech, drawing some attention. "Anyway, that's just how I see it. Other people see it differently."
Lord Kasawara grins. "Well, my dear, now I'm thoroughly confused by your metaphor, but I've never been known to turn down a friendly punch up." He angles his body sideways, making himself a smaller target, and raises his fists. "Go easy on an old man?" He smiles, before twisting his body to unleash a surprisingly powerful tornado kick.
Inazuma was on worse position, because she didn't going to use her magic hidding, shadow clone or any ninja weapon to her disadventage. No, It will be just her fighting skills what are good, but on rank of master. "Old warriors are more dangrous than young one." She answer him smilimgm Inazuma tried to dodge his kick and waiting for possiblity to conter attack.
Downstairs, the small group approaches the ram. The door outside lies open, a man dead in front of it. The samurai looks back, ordering an ashigaru to sound the alarm. The spearman nods, rushing up the stairs, only for there to be loud thudding as his headless body tumbles back down. The other ashigaru goes to shout, before a shuriken pierces his jugular. A woman descends the stairs. "Oh, I'm afraid that you've involved yourself in something that doesn't concern you, boys." Her voice is sensual and alluring, though it has a hint of danger. "I was only here to check if the girl is worthy. I don't have any use for you." The samurai grunts, levelling his jumonji spear and looking to Jian. "We take her together, alright?"
Bending backwards at an angle so sharp that it seems like her flexibility is inhuman, the samurai easily dodges the sword strike, bringing her own blade up at an odd angle as she rises, before cutting diagonally and barely missing. Not missing a beat, she then thrusts the wooden sword forwards at Kyouka's stomach, aiming to drive the wind from the redhead's lungs.
Moving backwards, she easily gets out of the way of the kick, and notices that he has his back to her, having overextended himself in his attack.
Inazuma bow down her body and make kick in his leg, going to make him fall down on floor and then hit lord in the stomach.
"Ho?" Humming in an amused tone as her opponent reveals her flexibility, Kyouka's desire for battle further ignited. Having evaded her slash, the redhead spots her opponents thrust. Grinning, she moves sideways, but just enough so that the wooden sword grazes her hip. And without a moment to lose, Kyouka uses the butt of her sword's hilt to hit the raven haired beauty's wrist.
Lord Kasawara grabs her leg, and using her own force against her, throws her across the room. Because of the tatami mats on the floor, though, It doesn't hurt much but her pride, and she's still more than capable of fighting. The old man grins. "You don't just fight with your body." He taps his forehead. "This is your best weapon. Understand your foe, and you can crush them."
The hilt slams satisfyingly into the girl's hand, causing her to swear loudly. Before Kyouka can capitalise on the blow, though, the girl hits her chin with a palm strike, forcing her backwards.
Though the palm strike took her by surprise, luckily, Kyouka always clenches her jaw whenever she's enjoying a duel. Which was also why her grin looks fierce, whenever she's fighting a "worthy" opponent. However, before the raven haired beauty could make another move. Kyouka twists her lower body, attempting to knee the woman's stomach.
Inazuma get up quickly and make battle stand again. "Yes, my mind and every adventage what gives me enviroment." She said having no doubts he is much better in fair fight. Inazuma look at body, wonder if Kasawara have any old wound or scar what made him weaker. She jump on the wall, bounce from it and attack him kicking in his head.
For a small half second, Koyumi smiled before looking serious. "If a tree falls in the woods, does it make it sound?" Citing that age old question, her voice made it clear that she already had an answer to share. "Imagine such a species that thinks the very core of existence of other objects and the core of the being dwells within whether or not, the human was there to watch it. The tree makes a sound. So does it's leaves. And the bugs that eats the leaves. The birds that eat bugs, and the wily foxes that catch the birds. Not only does all of that happen, without humans around to see it, it has for years before they were even given birth. Now imagine all of this happening, it being a natural part of life, until one day the literal gods come down upon you themselves to tell you that not only do they exist, but they don't care about your existence and instead want to focus on their latest project. Now not only that, but they tell you under no circumstances are you allowed to hurt their favored children. Try to think of what that means. Their kind came second, long after you resided on the earth, but only they were given a moment's notice by the gods and the only time they will bother with other species is to tell them to leave their special little child alone?" Koyumi was silent for a while after speaking, before shaking her head. "But I don't believe that. But I know why others do. I can have fun with humans and live among them, but I know why the others can't. Whether or not it's wrong for them to judge humans harshly or justified, whether or not that existence before your time means we should be guiding you or whether or not, it means we're the only ones who truly have a claim to the world....depending on the day, my stance on that tends to flip flop a lot, honestly. But I see no reason to hold grudges over the actions of a few against a species as whole...but I don't really judge the ones that do....and I'm not even certain if they're wrong for doing it." Easing off the railing, the confident smile returned, though it seemed to have taken on a different tone now. "The full sad story is much longer, but I think we've given each other enough to think about for now."
The samurai, armoured in nothing but a kimono, wheezes as Kyouka's knee slams into her, knocking all the air from her lungs. With one last burst of energy, though, she brings her wooden sword down towards Kyouka's head, missing, but hitting her arm painfully. @Sabine Wren As the two women disable one another, Yunah feels her strength return somewhat. While she's still exhausted from fighting multiple opponents in a row, she feels capable of defending herself once more. The raven haired woman kneels in front of her, catching her breath, with her back turned.
Through his clothing, no wounds are visible, though clearly just a few moves have made him tired. She judges that his fatigue isn't enough to affect his moves, yet, but he's breathing heavily. Lord Kasawara raises his arms to defend, and though he manages to block the kick, the force of her attack pressed his arms against his face and pushed him backwards, off-balance.
Inazuma land on the floor and using force of speed, she made kick her knee in lord stomach, catching his arms. He is skilled, but old so he will get tired quickler than her.
The coastline is closer now, and Koyumi can begin to make out the tenshus of the various fortresses rising above the massive capital of Hattori. When she was last here, those castles were mere relics of bygone era, but now they look imposing and powerful, and she's sure that they are greater in number. The city itself, though always huge, seems larger, and more vibrant, as well. Kiyoda walks with her. "Yes, we have." Changing the subject, as the oarsmen pick up speed to careen the ship into dock, the young man says "I'm looking forward to walking through the capital with you. Have you been, before? I'm guessing you've traveled a lot, given how much time you've had."
Crossing his hands in front of his stomach, he blocks this blow as well, shifting his position. He throws two punches in quick succession that she can block or dodge, before jabbing forwards and hitting her nose. Though it doesn't hurt much, it forces her backwards. She notices, as she reels back, that Lord Kasawara shakes his arms. They're clearly in pain after blocking her kick and then her knee.
"Kkh." Groaning her her sword arm was damaged, Kyouka had to rely on her left hand to support her blade. But, seeing how the raven haired woman was catching her breath. The redhead grins, "Heh, do you regret not bringing out your steel sword now?" She taunted, slowly approaching. Kyouka prepares to deliver another sideways slash.
Eikyo is not the strongest of Lady Otsu's servants, but he has enough stamina for this. He pounds into Xia's pussy a few more times, before letting out a strange sound somewhere between a hiss and a moan as he starts to fill the servant's pussy.
