Inazuma look at floor and walls on left and right patch, tried to decided in which way it will be more safe. As sorceres go to her, kunoichi ask. "In which way should we go, if we going to lower lewers?"
The official gives a frustrated look, before leaving the litter, looking at the fuming monk. "I-I apologise." The monk has the official kowtow, but lets him go, heading back to his group, where a shoving match has started between a monk and a ronin. A huge, gilded palanquin arrives, and Midori sees Lord Yokuboo, the shogun, and several of the people she recognises from the ship.
Miodir sighed with relief as the incident was resolved peacefully, then watched as the palanquin arrived. “That's lord Yokuboo and the shogun. Let's see how they are going to handle this issue...” She wondered aloud and gave the official that apologized to the monk a quick look, before her gaze went back to the people inside the palanquin.
Jian nodded to the Clan patriarch and let him be. He replied to Chitsukiko, 'We're just servants at this point, just keep quiet and keep your head down. I'd doubt anyone will take much interest in us.' 'Huh, what's going on now?' Jian stepped towards the commotion. Looking at the two enraged parties, he spoke, 'What's the meaning of this? Can't you bash your heads in at some other place than the main road?'
"Hmm..." Jurobei thinks for a moment. "How about I tell her that I am here to negotiate your marriage with Emperor?" He looked at the young woman. "Make it look as if we are desperate to save the remnants of influence, make her believe that we could be easily manipulated?"
"I don't know. I've never been here before." The sorceress shakes her head. Sniffing, Inazuma's trained nose picks up a pleasant, floral scent from the left, and she sees something glint in the darkness on the right.
She sees that the foreigner, Jian, goes to confront the fighting men, while Lord Yokuboo and the shogun discuss politics. She can't hear exactly what's being said, but she catches the sound of them talking of a marriage to the emperor. A bearded ronin turns to face Jian. "Hey, blame the bald bastards." He points to the monk. "They won't let our boss onto his property." The led monk snarls. "This is sacred ground! It can't be bought and sold like some livestock!" Yunah, watching crefully, is the only one that sees one of the ronin draw a tanto, and head towards one of the monks who's too focused on the argument to notice.
"Hm. For now, I should head to the palace. Or wherever they plan to hold the Kushan." Kyouka sighed, "But I'd like to bath first if ever."
A marriage to the emperor? Who is trying to marry the emperor, I wonder? The shogun, perhaps? She seems young enough... But why are they discussing it out in the open, where people could overhear, either intentionally or by accident? Well, whatever – not my problem. Midori decided and pretended to focus all of her attention on the fighting men ahead while trying to hear more of the conversation without making it obvious she was listening. Even if she were to hear nothing more it would be worth the attempt.
He sniffs. "Yep, that's probably a good idea, though I think they'll clean you up and give you something formal to wear for the ceremony. Follow me." Heading through the streets, he leads her to an onsen.
The thick curtains of the palanquin, and the sound of the bustling street make it difficult to hear, but she manages to catch the shogun say "If they don't see us as a threat, we'll be harder to stop."
Yunah acts Quickly, she draws her Katana and is wounding The Arm with his Weapon and Holds her Blade to His leg, ready to end him if he tries anything and doesent surrender
The man cries out, blood spurting from his arm, as the rest of the ronin turn to face Yunah, drawing their blades. The monks surround Yunah, protecting her with their naginatas.
"Haa. Well, I guess they will." Kyouka sighed, giving the tailor and his wife two gold coins each as an apology for the smell. She then follows the soldier, "So, you still haven't given me your name. Or are you trying too hard to be mysterious?" She asked as they entered the onsen, Kyouka pays for them and heads inside. Not really caring if it was a single, or mixed bath.
"Santo". He says simply, sliding into the steaming water. It's a communal bath, but it's mostly empty, the other patrons on the other end, out of earshot.
"Mmmh." Kyouka moans as she enters the onsen, she cleans herself first before entering the hot spring. "Santo, eh? I'm sure you already know who I am. But, just in case. I'm Kyouka." She cooed, subermeging herself in the warm water.
Inazuma decided to take left, following floral sceny. " This way. " She whispered to sorceres as kunoichi hide hersellf in the shadows.
