Looks really good. The one thing I would note is to make sure that parts of the site don't vanish on mobile like the center part of the top nav does on the current site.
This new interface looks slicker than whale snot and like it will boost the site to undreamed of heights: I support and eagerly await it. (Also, as an added personal bonus just for me my B-day is in October, so this will kind of be like a bonus present!)
I've always had a hard time working the thread trees, so not to be to demanding but is there any way you could maybe make it less complicated
Sort of like this, I think it should make staying on the proper plotline and such much easier. But I know programming more complex stuff like this is a real pain
I see what you mean. Instead of displaying the threads as a list we'd have to align them vertically. I can't promise you anything but I'll maybe take up this challenge.
Waiting with baited breath for the new site. It looks great. Can you give us any information about any new functionality that is coming with this update?
Hi folks, the important thing first: CHYOA 2 will be released between October 30 and November 6. The focus of this new version is on the improved community features and the enhanced capabilities for authors. Technically it uses server resources more efficient, increases performance and is therefore more scalable. Here are the main features which are coming with the new version: Messaging system Improved notifications Story Variables and Conditional Branches Distinction of bookmarks and favorite stories Improved search algorithm Integrated WYSIWYG Editor Asynchronously saved drafts Multiple editors per story I'm looking forward to it! Best regards, Friedman @Noahendless: You will be able to set the time zone in the settings. @Vain: The respective owner will be able to (dis)allow story variables per story.
I wait with Anticipation to see the new and improved Chyoa. P.S, Thanks for all the hard work you put into this and all future projects.
