@moonblack @merkros @asddas193 @Daylan The car returns them to the abandoned parking lot, where the helicopter waits. As they fly, Erika feels the venom coursing through her, exciting her, but she knows from experience that the only real way to deal with it is to wait it out. After an hour or so of flight, the chopper lands back at the Spencer Estate. The British soldier meets them, saying "I hear you girls did a good job. The Director says that you can either go for debriefing now, or, since it's late, catch some sleep.
"Not a friend I take it. At least that is what we have to assume. But sure." She considers it for a moment, then shakes her head. "Don't have anything useful to keep her off the road." A concrete jungle is a concrete jungle, reaching out for any buried roots and then work it through the asphalt to snag a tire sounded like it'd take far too much time to be useful at the speeds they were going. "Alicia responded, I'll let her know about the additional bike." Reaching out for the phone and reading the reply out loud for James and the driver before answering. 'Congratulations! In other news, a friend got a motorcycle. Keep an eye out for it. Expect she'll be getting up to trouble with it. Oh, and be careful. Make sure you're protected.' "If you have any ideas James, I'd love to hear them."
Henry looks over at her as he drives. "Texting your daughter? No, it's no problem. I was thinking we'd go grab some fast food." @Mazoku @unisol_gr44 James and Rebecca watch as Hipper takes the car through the drive through of a local fast food place, buying some burgers, before stopping in a parking lot to eat. As the car stops, Chelsea stops her bike a short distance away, lighting a cigarette and observing. In the car, as he eats his burger, Hipper looks again to Alicia. "So, you're on probation for a month. The thing is, probation only pays half the usual salary, and I get the sense you need money fast." He wipes his mouth as he finishes the burger, but as he looks at Alicia's body his gaze is still hungry. "I might be able to waive the probationary period and get you working straight away, though, for the full salary. Of course, we'd have to work something out."
“I'd like to get the debriefing out of the way, if possible. It would be easier for me to rest if I know that we are fully done with the mission and have nothing more left to do.” Seres told the soldier, then realized that her companions might prefer to get some rest first. “By the way, how does debriefing work, exactly? Do we all get debriefed together, or can we be split in groups, with some of us going to debriefing and others going to rest?”
"You can do it individually, or all at once." He shrugs. "Doesn't sound like it'll be long. From what I understand, your part of the mission went smooth."
Seeing the message, she thought to check the review mirrors for the bike, now a little more tense, but left flushing at the bring protection remark. She knew exactly what that meant. “Just a friend.” Not giving too many details, Alicia was mostly just remaining quiet but friendly until she heard the proposition, looking at him with confusion. “Sir?”
'Well, maybe more like a good acquaintance. I wouldn't call us friends, but we got along well enough. Our parents knew each other and we went to the same school. I'm just concerned with the whole thing that I've been officially dead for a year,' James explained to Rebecca, 'I'd like to keep her out of this, but she seems to be involved in some way.' 'I'm not sure, but we'll have to be ready to stop her, should she move against Hipper. She could be his bodyguard too since she worked as the DJ in that club.' When Hipper's car stopped at the Burger joint, James didn't have to tell the driver to stop a bit further away. He grumbled, 'Hmm, she's just observing them too. I could talk go and talk to her... but then we'd have to bring her in for a mindwipe for sure.'
He nods, not really that interested. She feels his hand reach out to touch her thigh, lifting up the tight dress. "Whaddaya say we go up to my place and enjoy each other's company for the night? Then we can get you working as soon as you like."
As they returned, Melissa's anxiety dies down. "I'd like to get the debriefing out of the way." She replied, ready to be lead back to the director.
“Well, in that case I'd like to take care of the debriefing first.” Seres told the man. “I guess that makes two of us.” She added as she heard Melissa's words.
@Mazoku James and Rebecca watch as Chelsea's hand goes over her shoulder. Out of the bag, she pulls a metal baseball bat, slowly doing some practice swings, but for the moment she stays put.
Melissa and Seres are lead up to The Director's office. The woman looks to them with an approving nod. "Well done." She holds a crystal decanter of whiskey. "A drink, as celebration of your first successful mission?"
Rebecca snorted. "If she's here for something completely unrelated to the magical book, I'll eat my Shapeshifter's Hide..." Seeing the woman bring out her weapon, she raised an eyebrow. "And look at that, a baseball bat. Out of metal. Could've done something about it if it hadn't been. Not sure how I want to handle this. If we cause a scene and he becomes alerted things can go bad quickly."
@moonblack "Thank you. It was a team effort." Melissa said with a smile, "I'll have to decline. I'm not really into whisky." She then shakes her head at the offer, since wine was her choice of poison. "Uhm... so... what now? Will we be having more missions like that?"
She froze. He wanted her to prostitute herself? Her body reacted before she could think better of it, pulling away. “T-that’s too much!” Only after saying it, it occurred to her it wasn’t the best idea to reject him like this, but there was just no way she could go along with what he was asking. With one hand on her phone, she began to scramble some text to Rebbeca without looking. I fs bfsad She wasn’t sure how to salvage the situation, and the more paranoid part of her brain told her to move her other hand behind her waist and start getting ready to draw if she had to.
“Yes, it was. Everyone contributed to the mission's success.” Seres agreed with Melissa's assessment. “Thank you, I think I will have a taste.” She wasn't a big drinker, but she did not want to be rude and a little bit would not hurt, as long as she did overdo it – the last thing she needed was to wake up with a hangover.
He doesn't look like he's giving up, but takes his hand off of her thigh. "Come on, babe, it's just a little fun. What if I throw in a little raise as well? Maybe five perc-" @Mazoku @unisol_gr44 As the situation in the car develops, James and Rebecca watch as the blue haired woman stomps out her cigarette, before striding towards the car. With a heave, she pulls back the bat, and swings it through the driver side window. As Hipper tries to bribe Alicia into sex, the nun watches as the window crashes open, glass shards hitting the club owner's face. A blue haired woman slips her hand into the car, dragging the overweight man out of the window with little issue.
@moonblack She nods. "Yes, extermination missions are quite common for our agents, though there are other types as well. As for what awaits you tonight, well, you'll be free to do as you please around the grounds, though I'll ask you to keep your phone on you, as you might still be sent as reinforcements if the other team needs help with Miss Sinclair."
'Shit, I don't think she's here to play baseball,' James cursed watching Chelsea get out her bat, 'We're running out of options, at this point we'll have to deal with her no ma... there she goes, c'mon.' James rushed out of the car towards Chelsea. James tried to feign the vigilante citizen, 'Hey, what do you think you're doing! You crazy?!' He grabbed her and tried to separate her from Hipper.
