“Thank you, please give me thanks to Madame Director.” Seres returned the maid's smile as she took the bottle of whiskey. “May I know your name, miss?”
Opening the door, the fighter sees a large gym area, filled with exercise equipment, punching bags, and a sparring ring in the center. In the ring, she sees a bout going on, or an excuse for one. An athletic young woman stands in a fighting pose. Across from her is a skinny looking young man in an athletic outfit. The woman absolutely demolishes the man, unleashing a quick flurry of jabs, before hitting him in the ribs with a knee strike, judo throwing him onto the mat and trapping him in an arm bar. Desperately, he taps her leg and she releases him.
The driver manages to avoid police attention, parking the car and turning the lights off as he sees flashing red and blue lights. For a breathless second, you both think you're about to be caught, but the police cars dive by at speed, not even seeing the black four wheel drive, and the driver continues on his way out of the crime scene, not breaking the speed limit. Hipper looks fearfully at Alicia. "P-Pawn? No, I'm not a pawn of the devil! I'm not a pawn of anyone!"
He walks in, pulling out his phone. "I was wondering if you could tell me anything about this?" He unlocks the phone, goes into the camera roll, and begins playing a video. The video shows security footage of a bakery. There's nothing of interest for a few moments, until a young man enters the store. Even though the footage is grainy, Melissa has no problem identifying her son. The young man approaches the counter and orders something, before darting into the back when the baker turns around. The camera footage changes to display an office. Her son goes inside, looking through filing cabinets and going onto the computer, before a guard enters the room and restrains him. After using his phone to report in, however, the guard is distracted, and Melissa's son is able to escape. Agent Sully looks at Melissa. "That young man wasn't just going into a random bakery. He went into a front owned by an information dealer with a connection to the bureau. It turns out that he was searching for two keywords: Succubus, and Melissa." Agent Sully looks at Melissa, expression unreadable. "Your son wasn't present that day, to see the succubus, and he's supposed to believe that you died of natural causes. Any idea, then, why he'd break into the front of an information dealer specialising in the occult to search those two things up?"
"You work with necromancers. If it wasn't due to you, Erin would never have became as much of a threat. Seems to me, you're just as guilty as she is for enabling her behavior." Alicia seemed uninterested in any complicated talk about morality. While there was another two minutes of silence, she ultimately went back to finishing her work with healing him. Uncertain, if she should be doing it, but concluding it as something that needs to be done anyway. "That being said...you're still a human and should be treated like such. Hypothetically, speaking anyway." She didn't make a secret of her scathing indifference on it even it was spoken with her normal good cheer.
Erika applauds as she steps into the room. "Nice form there," she says, looking the both of them over.
His teeth chatter and he stutters. "N-N-No, that's not true... She was dangerous before she came to me. She already had the book, already summoned some demons. If anything, I was doing you guys a favour by trying to take her out. Err, who are you guys, anyway?"
The woman smirks, heading to lean against the ropes and look at Erika, as the man scratches his head in embarrassment about his humiliating defeat as he does the same. The woman gives Erika an appraising look, and says "Thanks. You a fighter yourself?"
"About what?" She asked, until the agent showed her the video. Melissa immediately gulped, "W-wha, Tyler..." She said under her breath as the footage continued. She let out a relieved sigh as her son managed to get away, but as the agent questioned her again. Melissa froze. "I-uh, I have no idea. M-maybe he's just seen one too many movies you know? I-I mean, he must have realized that the cause of his father's... uhm... sickness... is un-natural." She replied, though for an intelligence agent like him, it was more than obvious she was lying. Specially due to Melissa's lack of experience in getting interrogated.
That got her attention. "She already had the book? But not only do you know what it is, you know what it does." Hearing his question asking for a proper explanation to things, she wondered if she should be the one to explain it. "We're the people who get rid of demons and their lackeys. We're much more well trained at it than most. We can easily make Erin go away, but we have to know where she is, whose with her and what they have."
“It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Sarah. I am Seres.” She almost blurted out Are you on the menu? but managed to stop herself. “I'll be sure to let you know if I need anything. You're probably busy right now, so I won't take any more of your time.” She gave the young woman a reassuring smile, though her eyes lingered on Sarah's bust a bit too long. How unbecoming of me. It's true I have not had any sex ever since my encounter with that demon, but that's no reason to try and seduce a maid I just met! I should at least wait until I get to know her a little... She mentally chastised herself.
The bulky agent looks unimpressed. "Mrs Fitzgerald, let me put this to you clearly. Your son seems to almost certainly have knowledge of our world. He also seems to know that you're not dead. Procedure indicates that in this scenario, we're to use any means necessary to discover how he knows, terminate or mindwipe him, depending on how likely he is to become a security risk again, and then terminate the leak. Luckily for him, I managed to catch this early, before this was logged officially, but I need the full story if I'm going to prevent your son from feeling the consequences of his actions."
"I told you, she's at the art gallery. It's the Burbank gallery, on 6th and Whitman." @unisol_gr44 @Mazoku The driver looks back, wordlessly asking if that's where the group wants to go.
Sarah doesn't seem to notice Seres' wandering gaze. "Of course, madam. As I said, I'm ready to help if you need anything. You can ask for me at the desk, or if no one's there, my room is on the wing beneath this one, at the end of the hall. She smiles brightly. "Have a good night, miss." She leaves Seres alone with her whiskey.
Melissa's heart sank as she heard their protocol. "W-wait please, don't hurt him!" She cried out, "I-I'll admit it, I left him a letter about what actually happened. I-I just didn't want him to feel alone." She continued, "Please, just... just let me speak to him. He'll stop looking if he hears it from me." Then as he shared that the video hasn't been logged into their servers, "I... please, I'll do anything. Just don't report the incident with Tyler."
The worldly teen could already figure out what was going on here. Either sex or drugs. Possibly both. However the idea that one or more soldier here might not all have massive sticker rammed up their asses piqued her interest. So she didn't have a problem following along for now.
“Good night, Sarah,” Seres watched the maid leave, using the chance to check out her ass. Once the girl was out of sight Seres went back inside her room and closed the door. She has a nice body... but with how long it has been I doubt one maid would be enough for me. Now if there are two of them... She shook her head and put the bottle down on a table. Thinking about the maids only makes me hornier. Let's give the whiskey a try... She took a cup, opened the bottle, and poured herself some, then took a sip.
"Damn right," Erika replies with a small smirk, "And your friend there? He got any aspirations or is he just your personal punching bag?"
The soldier leans against the wall, cigarette in his mouth. Between the compound wall and the dorm building is a small garden. The soldier looks at her. "Hey there. Heard you have a thing for Mary Jane."
