Yeah, it'd probably be less straight mind control, and more corruption, where he manages to make her less inhibited over time. I might do that, then, and save my other character concepts for later.
Name: Jack Matsubara/Sietch Job: Freelance Netrunner Background: "I can break any system, if you've got the credits to pay for it." Son to the legendary reporter, Gina Matsubara, Jack is, to his mother and friends, just a regular college student and nerd. However, unbeknownst to most people, Jack is living a double life. Dropping out of college, he began using his immense skill with computers to become a netrunner known as Sietch, named after a cool word he'd read in some old sci-fi book he read once. Sietch has been the hacker on multiple jobs, working with professional criminals (and occasionally corpo execs) in a number of jobs including but not limited to: armed robbery, assassinations and corporate espionage. As his skills increase, he begins to look towards his milf mother, and the things that his skills could accomplish with her... Skills: Computers x2 Manipulation x1 Charm x1 Guns x1
I’ll have to edit her skills to be more cyborgy, I think. Or it depends if a lot of it would fall under equipment, I guess.
Just an basic overview of my character concept. Oh, and just so people know, Cyberpunk has this thing called "Posers". Posers are people who get surgical operations to make them look like various celebrities and characters. For example, there's a gang called the Kennedy's who all look like JFK, and in one campaign I saw, there was another gang that looked like the cast of Friends. The possibilities are endless, so you could totally make a character that looks exactly like someone from an anime or game, if you wanted. Just an idea.
I'm just wondering since cybernetics, modifications and all that would be so common, would that be it's own kind of slot sheet thing? If you're fine with suggestions, maybe like one skill point for something like Cyborg or Genetically engineered and that gives you three spaces to add things? Or maybe just kind of an independent list with seven spaces for players to add things they want? I'm just debating exactly how I want to build Gina so she has her useful and cool cyborg abilities but still has good news reporter skills and all.
