There's been a couple of incidents recently where users have been effectively stuck with another user's story. Currently, only owners and moderators are able to remove authors from stories, meaning that it's possible for someone to force another user to join their story. It is also generally annoying that a user has to enlist in the assistance of someone else (owner or mod) to be removed. Authors and editors should have the power to retire from their roles. Seeing as how this suggestion doesn't appear to be on the forum yet, I thought I'd throw it out there.
