I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm not doing something right. I tried to add a cover to my stories. I went in to edit mode, clicked on "add cover" but nothing happened. EDIT: This may be for IE only. I just tried it with Chrome and no issue.
Little formatting bug: when you attempt to favorite a story, the tooltip that pops in over the button causes the favorite icon (the star) to shift to the left, since the favorite link is at the far right boundary of the span tag that encloses it, and adding the div for the tooltip shifts everything to the left to make room. Unfortunately, attempting to move the mouse to where the star moves to causes the page to believe you've moved off the icon, which sends it back to its original position. That's what it appears to be doing, at least. Not a huge bug, and I can fix it locally (thank you Firebug!), but should be a quick CSS fix. I'm using Firefox 42.0, for reference - haven't checked it with other browsers.
Has the way to use italics changed? Using * * on new threads no longer works, and I've tried using _ _ as well and it didn't work too. Thanks! EDIT: found the problem, I had to disable the rich text editor.
When you go to edit an existing linked chapter, the select box for the destination chapter doesn't initialize with the saved value (it's blank).
I've disabled the rich text editor on the settings menu. Then I had to edit the chapter and remove some additional characters that appeared, only then using the * * worked for italics.
Hi, When I try to view my chapters written (I have one at the moment). It won't show it to me as it's "under review". This chapter still appears on my info panel as existing and I can only see it by going to the non logical place of "notifications" and viewing it in there (actually it's the really obvious upside down triangle thing to the right of notifications that has no indication that it's actually a kind of options section. my bad). Please can you have a "show all chapters","Show accepted chapters" and a "show under review" tick boxes or toggle rather than having to go hunting for them in the notifications. Other than a few minor issues like the above it's mostly ok looking. The other issue was the incorrect use of "+" and "-" in the story tree view. They are around the wrong way. Also if there are no more current branches to uncollapse you should use a "." or something to show there are no more to expand. Other wise people might assume you have a server issue etc. I noticed that it now only loads the story tree branches as required rather than all at once. Thanks, Mr.B
The "Add Story to Favorites" button is jumpy as hell. When I put the cursor over it, the button pushes over to the left and I can't click it.
Just tried to use the new 'save as draft' feature, which would have been right handy: and got a 'whoops looks like something went wrong' message...
think I posted this in the wrong spot but the story map on massaging mom is messed up. All my threads third tier chapters appear under the same second tier chapter. Flirty: Peck on the lips but 3 of them should be under bashful and the last one under friendly.
not sure what's happening here but I'm getting nothing but ssl error messages trying to access the site at all - tried different OS's and browsers and machines - chrome is reporting ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH and I'm getting similar messages saying ssl errors from linux browsers - any ideas?
Were you able to save eventually (ie did it just take a few clicks) or did the site reload, reset, or otherwise lose you content?
