"That might be an option. We'll have to investigate the first two sites until we have proper leads on a location." Alicia agreed.
Erika looks through the files, and sees some information about the target, by the name of Vanessa Helios. By most metrics, she seems like a normal college girl, studying engineering. It says that she's the lead vocalist in some sort of punk garage band, Pizza at McDonald's, and attached are some publicity photos of her, taken by an indie music magazine. Vanessa has a girlfriend, who also has strangely gone missing. The Bureau was able to intercept text messages from him, arranging to meet with his father to pick up some supplies. Reading up, James sees that there have been a number of disappearances in the area around the subway entrances, mostly of homeless people, but also some members of a local gang, Los Familias. The gang's leader has posted a bounty for the heads of the people responsible, or for information. The document also states that there are suspected to be other tunnels in the subway system, collapsed after an earthquake, built over and forgotten by the city back in the 50's. The Bureau's analysts suggest that it isn't impossible that the cult, or someone else, could be using the forgotten tunnels beneath the main ones, either for transport, or as a base.
"I'd like that." Celine smiles. "I'll try my best, though my sense of humour isn't for everyone. I'm glad that you consider me 'good company', though."
'Hmm, there's definitely something fishy going on with the subway tunnels,' James said, 'I'll be heading down there... probably best to start with their abandoned base before looking at deeper tunnels.'
“Well, neither is mine, so that's fine.” Seres chuckled. “Anyway, as enjoyable as this is, I think it's time we get out of the bath...”
"Will you be okay by yourself?" Alicia wasn't too where she should be, but felt the need to offer backup anyway. She assumed that even Erika would know to wait as a group before going directly after the person they're looking for, so she should be fine with getting leads on a proper location.
'I should be,' James nodded, 'Though, going in the tunnels would probably mean no reception, so I couldn't call for back up if something came up.'
"Well, I can go with whoever needs another person." (I forgot the thing I was supposed to be doing honestly.)
Hot as hell, Erika thinks to herself, though the mention of the girl being in a relationship does cool her jets before she gets too eager to see how a meeting would go. "I can probably check around the college or where her band plays to see if anyone's heard anything," Erika says, "Runaways usually don't get as far as the movies say they do. Might be crashing at the place of a 'friend' she didn't like to advertise she has or some popular spot for the homeless to sleep nearby." She pauses before adding, "Come to think of it, subway tunnels can be good for that last part too, so it might be somethin' to keep an eye out for while you're there." Erika then smiles wolfishly at Alicia. "But if you wanna stick together, I can watch your ass if you wanna poke around the crime scene to see if your angel nose can sniff out bad magic or whatever. Never know how many more cops are vampires out there, after all."
'I'll keep an eye out for Vanessa down in the subway tunnels,' James nodded before he turned to Rebecca. @Tjf 'Who will you go with?' James asked the vet.
Rebecca looks at the group as they discuss. "I think I'll head down to the crime scene. I don't know about angels, but my nose is pretty sensitive, and I can use my shapeshifter's skin to dress up as a cop."
“Perhaps in the future we can take a more... private bath together...” Seres commented as she followed and got out of the water as well.
Phew, I think it worked. Melissa thought to herself, as she felt her magic envelop her. "I'll see you this weekend, sir." She said in a sultry tone, before leaving Lawrence's office. She then checks her phone to see if Tyler left her a message. If he didn't Melissa uses the oppurtunity to search around the 19th floor.
